For all Firefox users.
In the last days, I noticed that my gameplay was laggy, my pc rly slow when running a program.
Opening the Task manager i noticed that firefox was using more than 500mb RAM....
Googled a bit, well, "The problem is that Firefox does not release the memory once the flash plugin no longer needs the memory for the flash object you were playing. Is it a bug in Firefox? Not really. Firefox is allocating the memory that the Flash plugin needs and the Flash player is using the memory it is given, it just isn’t communicating with Firefox to tell it is done with the memory."
Here are some useful tips to get your firefox running (almost) normally.

Anyway, this problem will be fixed with the new version of Firefox, even if it's still a beta it seems working pretty well.
Edit: W8 for the fix, update your browser to the newest relase (is should be 3.0, the one with the fix it's the 3.0rc1)
It's a beginning.

FYI
Setting the value network.http.pipelining.maxrequests to 30 is pointless. Firefox is only able to establish 8 connections at once. So anything above this value will be ignored (works, but just will be ignored). The reason why this "feature" is disabled at default and why setting it to a value greater than 8 will be ignored: It creates a lot load on servers (just imagine every firefox user would open 30 connections simultaneously on every(!) page request).
The value network.http.proxy.pipelining has to be used quiet carefully, too...

There you have it. Ignore the sites telling you to set the value to “30.†Those same pages will also tell you to create a new value called “nglayout.initialpaint.delay†and to set that value to “0″. All this does is start displaying the information on the webpage sooner. nglayout.initialpaint.delay does not make your page load faster. In fact, it can make it load slower; especially on slower connections. If you create this value and set it to “0″ you will notice the page beginning to render right away, but it will take longer to finish completely.
