installing ET when moved to another city?!

Q1: okay, here's the thing. If I was to move to another city, i'd automatically get an other IP, right? what happens if i would play ET then? Will my pc go nuts 'cause my account does not recognize this new IP adress??

Dont wanne be made out for a name steal or somethin alike..

Q2: Another question. If i reinstall ET, which files should i save to restore the PS-settings?

The only thing you need to save is your /etmain/etkey file (see PS FAQ).

ET account is IP unrelated, so you need only to backup this etkey file.

nooth, i checked your posting IPs and found out that you allready posted from different IPs ... so you got (like many other people, including me) a daily connection reset => daily you get a new IP ... or you posted from 10 different locations (home, school, library ...)

nvm, only the etkey is important for your account (levels, xp)
