BlaZcoWicZ Config Files

My current config file.. don't just load it since it'll overwrite your ET settings and keyboard&mouse bindings.

Logitech MX Revolution: with SetPoint program I have set that when I press the buttons I can't use in ET it's same as if I press buttons 1-7. Buttons 4,5,6 are therefor used for the right mouse wheel button, 1,2,3 are for the mouse3 wheel and 7 is for the tiny button below the mouse3 wheel. When I turn the right mouse wheel button forward, I change my fov to 90 and when I move it backwards, it's 120 again. I use 120 fov since I have 26'' monitor and I use arrow keys for movement, not W A S D. When I click the right mouse wheel button i select the main weapon from my inventory (useful since i have mouse4 and mouse5 for knife and grenade)

All these config files are in Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory\etmain\BlaZcoWicZ folder. Config.cfg is the main cfg which loads Settings.cfg, UserSets.cfg and Bindings.cfg. When Alt/NumLock are pressed the Extra.cfg is loaded and when the button is no longer pressed, Normal.cfg is loaded.

Feel free to do with my cofig file what ever you like. Best would be to copy paste stuff you find useful in my config files to your config file :) if your ET won't load after you exec my config files it'll be your fault since i did tell to change the config files.

Fov_M and Fov_P, what are they supposed to do? A kind of animation? I thought about this style (cg_fov change,wait,cg_fov change,wait) also, but i have only this:

So what are the benefits of this "scrolling-style" of the fov? :) Im interested.

i don't like it when fov is changed instantly from 120 to 90. i love using Fov_M and Fov_P with my right mouse wheel.

they (Fov_M and Fov_P) quickly change the fov (120->90 or 90->120), it looks like a zoom in and zoom out ^^. when the Fov_M is executed, then (as you can see in config file) the fov changes one by one (there's wait 1 because otherwise it wouldn't look like it does, it would just look like changing fov from 120 to 90 instantly.

i made it so that when it's "zoomed in" (90 fov) then the "zoom in" cannot be executed again, only "zoom out".

If you use it while in move, doesnt it stop the movement?

it doesn't stop the movement (alltogether it has like "wait 30"). still, i wouldn't use this with mouse1 (when +attack). it's cool to have this on right mouse wheel ^^

sadly this config file doesn't make me play better :)
