Banned for AFK

I was taking a leak and a drink and forgot to put my char on spectator. I come back after some time to find a message "Kicked and banned".

I really enjoy playing on the P.S. servers and would like to get unbanned. I dont recall who banned me.

the server I was playing on was:
85.25.137.76:27960
or
85.25.137.76:27951

(at least that's what the console told me)

uhum...maybe thats a 5 min temp ban..try reconnect

hmm but we dont kick or ban for being AFK, we !putteam afk people into spec.

So I don't know what happened but it sounds strange to me

That's the message I got from my console.

I was quite surpised too because I saw a lot of people going !spec 999 and things like that, moved to spects but no ban.

none admin kicking or banning ppl for AFK

it was on PS#2 and Snyder kicked you.

real, it's hard to take a kick for just staying in team while afk...

in the other hand, it's hard to put in spec every player staying in team when they go afk and wait to warn them when coming back to say 'put yourself in spec when afk, you make unevens teams...'

Snyder want to try a new way to make people listening, and somewhere i understand why he do that^^ (when kicked, a message say you why, with !putteam we have to wait and hope to remember we have to warn you)

unfortunately the kick on PS#2 is for 30min, so it's hard punishment for an afk

first of all: this was on ps#2 so wrong forum
then: maybe give your real name so that we can relate your forum name to game-nick

dude, you were staying conveniently in spawn where about 1500 sks happend during your little nice stay there
and you were the 24364964th in that few minutes i was there

- so i pmed you in order to get an reaction
- repeated this
- waited for another 5 minutes
- then kicked you and immedeately removed the tempban

whats so difficult with simply going spec? cant understand this especially when server is entirely full :/

and since there are more things about the server to be cared of, i dont feel like going through the spawns and !putteam-s-ing ppl every 2 minutes. thats simply unnecessary

You are right snyder, its very frustrating when server is full and you have to put half of ppl in spec and after 5min they come back and go afk and you have to put them again to spec.. It can ruin whole map because some1 can plant a bomb too easily when there are 15 vs. 15 (and other team has 5 afk players) I think that when some1 does multiple afk, 5 min temp. ban isnt that bad, then they come back when they really want to play and just not using admins time for such a unnecessary things..
