The Portal gun is now enabled on PS7 as a test. Wheeeeeeee

Those who are familiar with the game Portal (2) should already know how it works. For those who are not; with the portal gun you shoot an entrance and an exit portal, step into one, come out the other

It should be under number 9, or just scroll through your weapons.

To fire the 2nd portal, you'll have to bind an additional attack;

Code: Select all

/bind KEY "+attack2"

F.e. If you want to use your scroll wheel button/click, replace KEY with MOUSE3.

Additional:
If you do not want to see other people's portals, turning them off is simply done by typing /cg_viewPlayerPortals 0 in console.

I'm not Warren but...
Almost everything is possible as there is mapping tool for ET available for everyone. But I really doubt that anyone would have done maps from portal for ET already, let's not even talk about how legal it would be to reproduce portal in to freeware game (such as ET is) as 1:1 copy.

dont remeber how this map name but it is on the our server.
allies jump part, axis portal part.

I don't believe there are any portal map remakes for ET. That's probably because the portal gun is only in the ETJump mod. It actually uses the old Tesla gun model from RTCW

But if anyone knows any maps that could be fun using the gun on, post them here

Hi everybody,
Is it possible to have noclip mode in the server? Its faster than the portals and more useful. I saw in other servers that noclip can be enebled by the voice-chat, like v0(number), and this is very cool . Ofc only if its an easy job.. i mean, this is not urgent . Thanks.

PS: will be nice to have it in the next tj event !!
