Revolution mod (Beta 1) for no quater.
Hi all, long time not posting on PS forum.
I can seeing all day (server monitor) only one PS 2 server have no enough player, in compare PS 1, 3 and 5 fast all full all day ! Why !!!
Actually on wolfmap.de is one new mod for no quater " Revolution mod beta1 ", and the PS 2 need to use original mod etc.. for incoming new players.
Explication for the Revolution mod from wolfmap.de :
This is a mod that runs on No Quarter (and only No Quarter) and replaces several weapons and adds some cool stuff. It recycles some weapon skins that you may be familiar with, however it fully adds them to the source code and game. The classes were changed a bit to provide new strategy and something different.
Screenshots and a full readme are included into the download file.
Changes:
Weapons:
M4 Carbine: Soldier/Allies (replaces plain Sten)
AK47: Special Ops/Allies (replaces Stg44)
Tesla Port: Special Ops/Allies (an original RtCW weapon that replaces Flamethrower)
Unsupressed Sten MKII: Soldier/Axis (added by No Quarter)
M3 Snooper: Special Ops/Axis (replaces FG42)
12 Gague: Most classes (a reskinned version of Jaymod shotty)
Venom II: Soldier and Femme Fatale (medic), both classes (reskinned and less fire delay)
Chainsaw
Skill Rewards:
Level 4 Light Weapons: Most classes get a Chainsaw (heavy melee weapon)
Level 4 Medic: SpecialOps gets medpacks
Other Changes:
Elite Soldier class gets more grenades, and can supply their own ammo
Femme Fatale class is an elite female medic that carries a venom and can also snipe
Accuracy table updated with new weapons
Limbo menu updated
Kill announcements updated
Most all references to weapons or classes updated
Chainsaw has an occasional critical effect and gibs play instantly, also can overheat
Uniforms and limbo menu are reskinned
This mod was build on No Quarter 1.2.4 source code, so it has some of the fix/features in 1.2.5
When stealing a special ops or femme fatale uniform, the disguise is not 100% complete (you can tell by the face). So if you see a female body with a male face... Shoot'em!
Made shortcuts to !listplayers and !nextmap commands, it is now !li and !ne (like Jaymod)
You can testing this mod if you have one test server.
For finishing i will ask all server owners and players from PS 2 if you find this idee good.

hmm nice idead but for PS 3 i come to PS 2 coz i met some skilled players n play kinda most real Et game i woudl like to see this serv change to more ET pro (maps,less rifles,no mines when less people).

I know this mod, I occasionally tested it about 1 years ago. Was funny to see sexy medic lady (if I remember correctly it also has a cigarette in his mouth).
But, my feedback about Revolution Mod gameplay is: this is beautiful to be seen, only.
Because on fight was complicated to make HS, infact player moviments was irregular.
Now I go from one thought to another:

Thanx for your responses, i cant this mod, i only seeing this on wolfmap.de.
Ok Paco you have tested this mod, is possible that not really good and thx for that.
For the moment i stoped developpment from map, i will modify some buildings (pyramids) for have more reallity building and this need heavy free time.
For creating building i have needed fast 2 months....
I actually make one big SkyBoxs pack for mapping i will included one shaders file for all skyboxs. And some skyboxs have no shaders and need to create for all, and modifiy all shaders for the other skyboxs for better look.
Voila.

Ya, I dont recommend replacing an existing no quarter server with revolution mod, its a "fun-class" mod and should be put on a "fun" server if anything. Thats the whole point of the mod.
Anyway, just so you guys know, this mod is moving off of noquarter and on to etpub for various reasons. I am part of the mod team, and if all goes well we will add several things like trip-mines, a new sniper weapon, and some of the same stuff available Revolution mod. Most of which will be optional to turn off/on by the server owner depending on their server type.

doesn't sounds bad in the first moment, but i'm not sure if it's the right moment to change a lot at PS 2, since we start to get new regulars again these days / weeks.
