Must be allowed or not?

Yesterday i have a little situation...i see 1 player put medicine around him and i tell him is not allowed...(because i remember well 1 time i was kicked for the same long time ago) so..today i talk with some admins and tell me is allowed....ok.
the question is ...must be allowed or not??? think...
1 medic = 156 hp + 10 health medicine or more around him = 200 or more = TOTAL 356 hp or more.....

I think it should be allowed,why not?It isn't nice and could be tractated as MEDICRAMBO,but there is no rule breaking or something imo.If it's not camping around the enemy spawn or standing near the own spawn and farming/waiting for the enemy it's ok in my case.

Very lame, but very little anyone can do against it.

Would be nice if only medics got less hp from med packs...

Can't imagine you were kicked for it at our servers, or were you standing close to spawn or something?

I don't see why it should be disallowed and don't see the advantage either.
If you actually try this and are in fight, you'll notice that you can't pick-up that amount of medpacks that fast anyway.

A good player will kill you no matter how many medpacks you have laying around you

(not to mention that your opponent can pick-up those medpacks as well)

Yesterday evening there was a long discussion about it indeed. There I told 2 or 3 maybe even 4 times placing medpacks around you (in this case) is not against any rules and not disallowed.

Now I see this topic. So I guess I have to tell you again, like Warren said also, its not illegal.

btw the advantage warren is that when you killed an enemy, you can go to the medpacks and have full health faster (then in the situtation you have to put medpacks down after the fight) and are ready faster for the next guy.

No farming or XP whoring. Standing around only handing out ammopacks or medpacks is considered farming/whoring. Handing out ammopacks to a soldier with a dispatched mortar (in use) as a Field Ops is allowed and is NOT considered as farming.

So if you're giving medic packs for yourself just to heal you for an incoming fight it's not farming, and it's not forbidden. Standing near spawn and giving ammo or meds to your teammates just to gain XP and class levels it's forbidden

@ flower : you don t gain any XP by giving yourself ammo/health, so it s not farming anyway .

Flowers post is good but to detailed; farming does not have to happen near spawn, it could be anywhere in the map.

Put selfheal off it might sound like very lame but it makes gameplay more obj like when you need buddys to cover you and it will put med ramboing to the minium
