Server owner's decision most times, although some of us (in PS administration) like to see them enabled ;)

There is something to say for both, enabled or disabled.
Punkbuster requires quite a lot of recourses from the server and client (especially from clients/players with older pc's).

In other words, it can cause lag especially when a server is full and runs a mod that isnt really optimized (like NoQuarter).

nice... thx warren....for answering
kk PS 2, 4 and 5 got PB enabled.
PS 1 and 3 not.
If i remember right some of the PS are on the same servers aight?
Just different ports....
So all the lagZ come from the special -old PC-low bandwith- people that play on special PS?
Sorry man dont wnna ruin ya nrvs! :)
the thng is that i as a noob mistrust those servers that dont have PB enabled although i know that admins keep an eye on every player when they are on!

tbc.............. :P
