tc_base problem on PS1
Hello,
I have little problem with tc_base map, but only on PS1.
The map is in my etmain folder (as it should be), but on PS1 the server constantly try te re d/l the map. The game d/l the map, then stop and try to d/l the map again and again. It said me "wrong md5 checksum".
All is fine in all other server running this (great) map.
Anyone has similar problem ? Is the ps1 version map the same as other server ? I even try to d/l the map manually and replace the existant one in my etmain folder, without success.
Thx in advance for help

try connecting with downloads off:
maybe your client will eat it then
- Code: Select all
/cl_allowdownload 0

There are 3 or 4 different versions running on the PS servers.
The one on PS1 is, as far as I know, the one without the building in the middle, with only one obj in enemy´s base to steal and an obj a bit in front of the base at the left which you can steal 2 times. Further it´s the version where engis have to construct stolen obj in the own base.

Hmm strange Spy. Its just the standard tc_bace.pk3 file/map.
You tried to remove the file from etmain 1st and reconnect to PS1 again?

Yeah, I just do it again now. Same problem.
On console, I can read this:
Then, ET crash (it dont crash when I had the other tc_base.pk3 that my client had obtained with other PS server).
With "cl_allowdownload 0" and the "no-ps1" tc_base.pk3, I got an error window who said :
So I can't connect to PS1 when this map is running, but with others map it's ok.
On console, I can read this:
Warning : file /etmain/tc_base.pk3 obtained through download redirect has wrong checksum
this likely means the server configuration is broken
Need paks : etmain/tc_base.pk3 (local file exists with wrong checksum)
refusing redirect to http://88.198.62.41/final/etmain/tc_base.pk3 by server (bad checksum)
Then, ET crash (it dont crash when I had the other tc_base.pk3 that my client had obtained with other PS server).
With "cl_allowdownload 0" and the "no-ps1" tc_base.pk3, I got an error window who said :
Couldn't load map tc_base.bsp
The following pak are missing:
etmain/tc_base.pk3 (local file exists with wrong checksum)
So I can't connect to PS1 when this map is running, but with others map it's ok.
Just try it now. I move all the map in /etmain in another folder, then connect to PS1 running tc_base. But without success.
When i already have tc_base in my folder, ET try d/l it again and name it tc_base.ffdac6ee.pk3 (a temp hexa code for nameI guess), which is exactly same size as standart tc_base.pk3.
EDIT: I just checked md5sum :
same md5sum...
I really dont know what's the problem. I can run this map on PS6 normally... never saw that since I begun play ET.
