Hello... my friend want to joing on ps#1, he play today but i see he have all time ping 250-300 so he can't play... He have cabel modem 1mb/s... and he set rate 25000... so what problem ?

is that all time ?
or perhaps it was only one time while ur antivir or anything updated online...

or do you download xxx during playing ?

check if it was a fault of your game settings or if its the server by:

downloading hlsw and checking the servers ping on this way ...

if its better in hlsw than in game, than its because of your settings ...

if its in HLSW also bad, than its the connection :/

He have all time lag and he have closed all programs... also he have computer and net like me... but i dont have lags but he has it -_-'

Or else u can try:

Slow connection: /cl_maxpackets 30
Fast connection: /cl_maxpackets 100

Slow connection: /snaps 20
Fast connection: /snaps 40

Slow connection: /rate 5000
Fast connection: /rate 25000 or /rate 40000

Slow connection: /cl_timenudge 0
Fast connection: /cl_timenudge -20
