Problem with bots

like You see teams are just unfer, reason to many bots on allied teams. I see this situation every day (sometimes is worse than 5ppl fight with 3 ppl). I want change team some ppl also but we just cant do it. Game automatic add bots to make team fer, then situation is worse than before. All new connect ppl also cant go to allies, reason the same. Lot of ppl just disconnect (especial from weakest team) because game is just unfer and booring (they dont have any chance to win). So at last this make PS4 server less popular. Lot of ppl make angry and mad and then start no necessary insulting, to ppl from strongest team.

My proposition for solution this problem: delete automatic add more bots to make teams fer, number of players schould be the same in above teams, and when one ppl join to team one bot schould be deleted if ppl go out team one bot add. All the time schould be the same number of players in teams.

But this is only my proposition, rly I dont know it is posible or not. Thx for attention cu around :)

would be nice to see PS#4 without any bots. but if mefisto's proposition works then it's still fun to play and no forced teams.

I think you mean bots, and not your army boots but i get your point ;)

Problem is that even teams with bots often result in unbalanced teams, whenever a player joins a team a bot from the other team disconnects i havent found a good solution other than an uneven bot amount.

When the teams are even most people are likely to join the winning team (and probably the team with the most real players) anyway.

The bot amount and teams were balanced for a long time but the times I played the teams were always unbalanced (2 player difference minimum) for a long period of time. So i dont think balancing them again will do any good.


Of course we can lower the bot amount for a while and see how that works out :)

I m happy You get what I mean Warren and sorry for my terrible englisch :P
I know also that ideal balancing is not exist i wrote this post because last time a lot of ppl just disconect for this reason, i also hear more and more complains that teams are unbalanced and after that a lot of insults for winning sites. I try explain that situation new ppl, but very often they just disconnect. This is not way to made PS4 more popular, with more regulars players.

Well like I said above, no matter if the teams are even or not you always get 'unbalanced' teams, in terms of player skills, from time to time. When there's an admin online these things can be solved pretty easily but admin activity is not very high atm on PS4 ;)

Ill see if i can make some changes in the weekend, maybe switch on the 'ol auto balance 8).

And if you have map suggestions just post them here :)

Active Team Balancing (ATB) enabled at PS4.

For now a basic setup, based on earned team XP per map and killrating.
Constructive comments are welcome cause there probably needs to be some tweaking here and there.

Some fresh maps will come as well ;)

Well 2 min ago i was in ps#4 and teams was fair enough - 3 players in allies and 4 in axis +bots ofc. I was in allies, but after gained rampage i was moved to axis, also one more player from allies. In that way was 1vs6 :?

EDIT: Mabey this system should be based on xp per minute only coz now im moving all the time from one team to another with my 230k exp and its little annoying :wink:

Hmm... Its possible to make something like auto-shuffle after map end when teams are difference by more than 2 players? (or bots, coz somethimes they not joining to team who's loosing). Or mabey its possible to make a script who will not counting a bot like a "player". In that way real players will be able to changing teams to make it fair like they want to. Now the team with more bots de facto is locked. I dunno, its only an ideas. :)

Well like i said it needs some tweaking ;) I just didnt have time to test it out with some players online.

But thnx for your comments, i see what needs to be adjusted now :) Will make those adjustments when i find some time.


Your other suggestions arent possible though. The bot amount is uneven for a reason, read back my earlier replies above.
