JayMod at PS4

I dont want to always kick Spys discussion topic for new mod Jaymod and its progress.. And with new topic as announcement its more "announcing" for everyone who is interested in PS4, Jaymod or both :D

Well, i just want to say: We got now JayMod at PS4 and hope with this to get some players back to a "non-nq" mod.
Come visit us and you will find some varying gameplay with minimum the same fun-effect ;)

At the moment only standard maps running, but will change this soon.

Next planned steps are maybe a few bots and some fomok-style for old fomoksland ;)

ya first try with jay was positive. many interested players connected, we had some fun..

about setting: yes, we sure will search the optimal setting.. for example the team-goomba isnt that nice...

during evening we disabled votes and flamer... flamer not so interesting when you are able to carry molotov cocktails.. :D

also no !rulebook added at ps4, since at jaymod 2.1.7 it isnt able to add custom commands (beside with ETAdmin)

well... maybe we also need some bots to collect first players and some fomok-typical stuff ;)... but we didnt manage to realize it today.. but we'll work on it...

keep on visiting new ps4... and suggest here what to improve..

Good old times. Ah, moment... i have something in my eye.

That's good that there are only standart campaign for now, but it's very short imo. Maybe add 1 or 2 other maps who everyone knows. Like adlernest or venice for example.

Granades imo too powerfull, same as throwing knifes.

Why lock flamer? There's only 3 Molotov cocktails. More options- more fun. My motto :wink:

Yap, that team goomba is sucky :roll:

It's possible to set friendly fire off for mines?
It's possible to add more ammo? 150 bullets instead 120?
The binoc War... Imo its appearing much too often, its almost a spam.
About pm's: should be same at NQ or Etpub. "Message sended to [nick] [numbers of recipiencs] bla bla bla". Not like now: "sended to A bla bla bla", "sended to B bla bla bla". Its also little spammish.

Don't remember more sins for now, ill put them later :P

Is there what kind of spree sounds? NQ spree sounds? Jaymod?

its only possible to modify the goomba damage, i made it a bit higher then default to make it possible to goomba by DJ..

Nice to have an alternative to NQ...

However, i think i first have to adapt to the "lightspeed-panzer" (compaired to nq). :lol:
I guess, its the same like on etpro, but /w much faster reload time?

Yeah reload ist to fast for panzer imo.
Should be lowered and medics only 1 pistol, cause pistols are here normal strong :)

there is no perfect ;) And shooting 2 panzers in some seconds, isnt close to it ;D

is it possible to vote away the bots??
like when ur with 6 players and those 2 bots are kinda annoying (bullits eating meatwalls) and walking in the way. i always thought there was some command to make them disappear, and when everyone is out or no players playing (--> only specs) they all reappear?

not sure you understand what im saying but i hope you do ^^

There r almost everytime admin online and seb could add 2 commands to admins, bots on/off. I think that 8 bots on both side is too much, maybe 4-6.

sebbel can you add bots on server about 4, 5 per team it will be cool with commands bots off and on or botsvshuman i remeber there alredy was similar command or the same :P

Bots was one of the main reasons which killed this server before. Imo no point to bring them back, it will only prevent to get new players.
