So why are people that are friends with the admins allowed to use bad words?
I was playing a few mins ago and someone said F*ck and got unmuted by admin because he knew him.

How fair is that?
Totally lame! Just get rid of the automute or treat everyone the same!

thats how i remember your words and i think in that way automute

works perfect.

It should stay without any changes, the one biggest advantage is

that members/admins dont know whole languages and vulgar words.

It makes situation more clear for players, without any discusions. You just have to

learn what words are not alowed.

uhm wuju the highlighted part, you are only allowed to speak english (and i think everyone knows how an insult looks like and english insulting words) so yeah... thats not a very good argument you make there

The answer is easy: People sometimes get unmuted when admins can see a mute is not deserved, an example is: Our regular [n00b] PO. If someone wants to talk to him he will say the word noob in a non insultive way, when I can see that this is the case, I will unmute that person. Some automutes are for no reason.

For the rest when this is NOT the case, the member uses his commands actually in a wrong way. When it is really that a problem for you, collect some material against some member.

In my opinion this whole topic is actually one big drama, there is not really a problem, you are complaining that people not get treathed in the same way. I give you right, but hey, we are human. We also got feelings about others, somebody who I know for long time will be threated in an other way than somoene who is first time on server. That is common sense.

Impossible to prevent every single word: yes;
impossible to control yourself: no.
Warren has already pointed out the main reason, i don't want to repeat it as I totally agree with him.

We are free to unmute a person if we judge he wasn't saying that word with an offensive purpose or if the words is accidentally included in an other one.
If someone says "f*** you, damn n**b", surely he won't be unmuted, member, regulars or whatever he is.

That is just ignorant, the member/regular in question will know that he is going to get muted by automute, so let him stay muted. This favoritism is getting silly in my opinion.

If you say a word that is on the automute-list then you should be muted, regardless of the situation.
