Trip - mine
Heya Guys
I got some suggestion/question,
I found something interesing
http://www.wolfmap.de/comments.php?news_id=2268
in that mod there is imo very nice idea and thats the point of my topic
I know it is workin in other mod, but maby its possible to put it into
noquater?
I think it would make many new posibilities in game
@ Rainbow yaa i know its part of it

Main problem is not the missing code, but the code of this other mod is not open source (at least im unable to find the Source code).
I would say its nearly impossible to get it in the official NQ mod, just because the ShotStorm guys dont like new features.
NQ is open course so your free to edit and compile the sourcecode (f.e. "n!tmod", a nq with soem i find idiotic changes) but then try to get PS#1 owner to use it

Ok i understand, just didnt know its not open source code,
but when i saw it i thought it would be nice idea
One additional question, what kind of programing language is used to
make such a think like those Mod changes. Im sure its rly hard to
make it cause u need to know game engine ( ) but its rly interesting
how to do it Im IT worker so it depens how hard is it.

You find the sources of nq here
http://opensvn.csie.org/NoQuarter/
Programming language is (im 95% sure) C++.
Also you find a thread of discussion for new NQ features (skillrelated) here.

Cry and you will cry alone, but laugh and the whole world will laugh with you!!!
Rainbow > This is the very old svn repo of NoQuarter (r777 - probably NQ 1.1.1 or 1.1.2). Much more code have been written yet, but the NQ guys recently removed the source code repo.. I'm not sure if they will provide it again soon...
Anyway, I've the very last available NQ code on my harddrive if you'r interested (nq 1.2.7 - r3423)
And no, programming language is C, not C++ (except for the Omnitbot hook which is C++)

Wuju > The last svn revision I have weights 175Mb... I'll see if I can reduce this size. But without the svn history it will be very painful to make change in the code :/
Also, you will need ~1 week of study before starting to understand the code
EDIT: Stripped svn data and zipped to 42Mb. Any way of sending you a file as big as this one?
