WolfET2 by IdSoftware 0_O
I have read this news on Wolfmap.de feeds...
if my memory not fail..
now IdSoftware studios are property of Zenimax media company...
the Splash Damage studios owner of trademark ET now is partner of Bethesda Softworks (Zenimax)...
BUT... Wolfenstein hold steady trademark of Activision-Blizzard...
this eventuality seems me much improbable.. or not?

You should treat rumours as rumours.. With a truckload of salt
There are no official statements from ID at all, and looking at what a big *ughm* hit Wolfenstein (2009) was, I doubt they'll start working on a new release any time soon.
There was however a statement from John Carmack some time ago, stating that if Quake Live would be a success there's a small chance there will be something like ET Live. But even that is not very likely to happen.

The game should not appear before the year 2012.
It also states that one would be based on the gameplay of the original, and I will take this as far as possible.
How should we think have that, is obviously still in the dark, as is being developed Enemy Territory 2 on a new engine.
So, if we continue to speculate, this might be the in-house Tech 5, which of course makes the anticipation grow even further.
