A little idea

It is just an idea but: If the spawns in the command map were marked (red for example), players would be able to see on every map (if there are some of this spawn-zones) where the spawns are so overall administration would be easier and the players always know where they may not shoot in. 8)

Your opinion about this?

nice idea, feel free to start editing all our maps... :roll:

ye, only problem is that it isn't so easy to do those maps :wink: otherwise it would be damn good and helpfull to all :)

The maps do not get edited.

I think that players still wont really see it, personally im not looking on map and radar very much... But still wont be bad to add it

There should be a warning message 8) like sparkling red letters: WARNING! ENTERING SPAWN AREA :D

I think you have your own spawn marked by a flag on this map showed by pressing G (default). Or am I wrong?
However it's more important to know where's enemy spawn, not yours.

It's always possible and required to spend some time at the beggining of the map (especially if it's new for you) and check spawns by being spec. I think you see botht flags then.

Nevertheless the idea of marking spawns on the map more clearly, is a good idea. And text or sound warning would be just great! :good:

aint it possible to show those flags you see on ur own command map (the ones you use for choosing spawn) to both sides? i've seen mods who use that, so you can see where the enemy can spawn and where you can spawn. i dont think you need to edit the cm, but a few command lines could do the trick? :) and for the rest :good: good idea :good:

I think marking spawns on the map has got one really bad thing.

When u see on map: ENEMY SPAWN, smart, not behaving people will think that is the place to go :? a text in the screen is ofc the best idea!

mh maybe with nq 1.2.5(which implants lua interface) we could do the trick(when its released)
