My advice is that you DO use PayPal, it's probably more secure than any other online banking service, the fact that it runs in most countries kinda represents that.

It explains everything about the security and safe usage of PayPal, other than that i can't really give any advice on the matter but i am also very sceptical about internet money dealings and i am happy to use PayPal as they deal with almost every bank in the world (sorry hope that link helps though)
