dutch were just to slow in first half.
anyhow whistle of play off from robben he should hear indeed but thats only based on facts and was not rly nessairy to give yellow as i see worst mistakes from spain wich they only get a finger warn and not yellow
besize i think some players in our team should not have been played and netherland as just waited too long to set elia and vd vaart in game.
Anyhow was a great but also disapointed game,
but spain won.
Gratz and both well played.

Spain played better than Holland or Germany in matches against them and won both deservedly.
World blames Webb for not giving cormer kick 5 mins before the end of extra time, but goal wasn't scored strightly after this situation. Moreover referee could throw out some Dutch players even in 1st or 2nd half, but he did this barely in extra time.
Anyway Spain had more opportunities and Holland may have grudge against Robben for wasting 100% opportunity, but on the other hand Casillas made a great intervention there and for me he was the player of the match and best goalkeeper of whole World Cup.

haha, we all know that wasnt offside, but the pass from torres, heading to iniesta, but dutch defender shot it away. that ball. it was offside, and as iniesta participates by that ball. but doesnt matter all, spain won, gratz
funny to see only NL fouls in that vid, ofc Puyol should have been given 3 yellow cards but he only received one. Dunno what your prob with NL is dre...
NL should have 2 red cards, Spain one too. goal was not a goal, Iniesta is an ass for falling so easy to get Heitinga a red card (honestly - he fell when he got pushed by Heitinga's little finger... what a wuss).
But Im happy, money money money

Haha.
Guys let's make this clear:
Netherlands should have 2 red cards: De Jong and Van Bommel.
Spain also should have 2 red cards: Puyol and Iniesta.
Puyol because he should've atleast 2 yellow cards and Iniesta because of that action against Van Bommel. That was deffeniality RED! Or else because of all the schwalbes!
Spain won unfair. why? Because they scored after the free kick from Sneijder what was obviously a corner. When there was a corner Spain never should make a goal that's clear and maybe Holland would've make a goal(almost sure that it wouldn't happen)
Then there would be penalties now its a unfair game.
But we had Howard Webb! Holy man!

What you say about the match and all its controversial situations mainly depends on which team do you support.
Iniesta: maybe he's fallen to easily there, he may have kept standing and maybe it may have looked like diving, but it doesn't matter, because the fact is that Heitinga tried to stop him, by holding his shoulder and that's a foul.
Puyol: he made a large mistake, which let Robben have this situation and it's natural that he tried to stop Dutch forward, but Robben decided not to fall like Iniesta but to keep standing on his legs and continue this action. That's why Webb let this action go and forgot about Puyol's foul (if there was a foul). But for the 2nd time in this match, Casillas perfectly stopped Arjen and that's all.
edit about no-corner goal situation:
-Holland wouldn't score after it anyway
-referees used to make bigger mistakes on this world cup
-if it was in the middle of the match no one would remember this, results of this decision made it scandalous
-counter-attack which gave a goal wasn't after Casillas goal kick but after Elija's loss near Spanish penalty area (yeah yeah, if there was a corner match scenario would go another way and this counter-attck would never happen)
-Spain played better, had more nice actions and opportunities and what's more important haven't commited so many fouls, so they deserved to win
-if Spain hadn't scored there would have been panalties, which mean totally shitty end of any football game, especially world cup final

Diving is whole another topic, but in this particular situation we can talk about anything but diving.
It's a fact that Spanish players fall easier than English for example, but it's not because Spanish are sivers but because English football style is much harder and raw than Spanish. Some moves that in Englad are quite tight, but still fair, in Spain are fouls.
In football on the highest level, players should respect each other's health. De Jong should have approached to this ball with his HEAD, NOT LEG, because ball was quite high and it was obvious that with leg he would have rather foul than take the ball
