post here any funsites or official site [if got it] pls...
I have never heard about that
It is a space sim / RPG / 100% open ended free to whatever you want game .
It is truly amazing and it's quite cheap now, you can buy version 2.0.02 with some bonus scripts and added extras for under £10 (british sterling).
Here is the offical site link http://www.egosoft.com
One word of advice though, even though it is a masterpeice of gaming it's not for those looking for an easy ride, but in terms of gameplay and visuals it is highly rewarding.
I will give a brief overview:
The X3 universe is phenomenally large, it consists of 160 sectors (some mods add more, up to 50 extra in the mod known as XTM) which are home to various races. The main races are Argon (closest to humans), Boron (underwater creatures with seemingly organic spacecraft), Split (masters of capital ship combat and allies of the Boron), Teladi (a neutral race obsessed with money and expanding their gigantic empire) and the Paranid (a self proclaimed 'superior' race who are despised by many of the Argon).
The X3 universe is constantly under threat (especially from the Kha'ak and the Xenon - but i won't reveal too much about them) but through each jumpgate new and exciting prospects present themselves to the player.
As the universe constantly changes, every action the player makes has a consequence, whether concentrating on expanding a huge trading empire or joining the Pirates in providing the races with illegal goods such as Spaceweed, Spacefuel (also known as Space Booze) and profiting from the Slave trade there is certainly no limit to what can be achieved.
Some more info:
Each race has varying types of ship in certain classes, as follows:
m1: Carrier class, capable of carrying huge amounts of fighters
m2: destroyer class, the 'anti - everything' ship that can devastate entire sectors
m3: the heavy fighter, of then choice of experienced pilots who opt for shields and speed
m4: the fighter clas, all round fighter ship with balanced speed / weaponry
m5: scout class, excels in speed and manoevering
m6: corvette class, the 'mini' capital ship is devasting against fighters and often other capital ships like the m1 & m2
m7: *secret*
Each class of ship varies in stats / performance depending on race, there are also variations within each race for each class i nterms of how many types of a particular class ship a race has.
---------------------
There is so much more to tell i could be here for hours but let's just say this game basically never ends and there are so many scripts and mods (which are small in filesize btw) that add so much more to the game it is a perfect blend of RPG and space fight sim action.
(including full scale wars with multiple capital ships & fighters )....
-------------------
X3 is brilliant as it provides the player with as much freedom to do what they like within a living breathing universe that is constantly changing, with the player creating their own role and living their 'X life' as they chose.
--------------------
Any questions feel free to ask, i can provide lots of information on this game, as does the link i provided (especially the egosoft forums).
And if anyone plays it or is going to buy it etc and needs help i will be glad to
