Robot competition 2nd place :)

Well, as you all probably know, i was in a robotic competition from thursday to saturday, and in the end, we got 2nd place!!!!!!!! btw we are 16-17 yr old and we beat 20-25 yr olds

I found pics on facebook

And later ill put in a video of our dance competition, dont worry it wont b a boring video

ATM i have no more voice: 1-Cus i sang canada national anthem infront of 20 schools

2- Because we celebrated as if we were 1st place

we were suppose to pick up balls and with a lifting mechanism, drop the balls in the highest goal since its worth more points then the others. Then we needed to drop the balance(dunno what is its real name) to double our points.

we ended with a total of 4440 or so points

And were not nerds, we're only smarter then u gokunab

Did you start from scratch, or got the basic platform, and just built on it?

And what about the firmware? Did you use some of the commercial programs and just wrote scripts or did you have a programmer and made your own program?

There won't be a next time

Buuut, im going to help the students of next year do it

And since i know the schools we're up against a bit better, we will hopefully get 1st

Well, it is a 3-4 months work since we have several things to create and all. For the robot, we did start from scratch, from buying the wood at hardware store to programming and decorating it

And we had 2 programmers that took care of the programs
