We left yesterday morning with the car from Mexico City to Oaxaca. It was a 5 hours drive, 600km but it was an awesome drive! Beautiful landscape !!! We did bring some beers for drinking on the way hehehe. So now we are in Oaxaca and we gonna visit the city and Monte Alban ofcourse. After that we gonna drive to Tuxtla Guttierez and gonna do some trips to the nature, with ofcourse the Canon de Sumidro!! Also we gonna drive to Palenque and to Villahermosa!

Yo that's really cool! I've been to some of these places. I spend a couple of days in Mexico City with some local friends, the driving was crazy haha. Luckily I was the navigation guy. I went to the Popocatepetl there, so beautiful.

If you go to Tuxtla Guttierez please also visit San Cristobal de la Casa. Think it's like 30 minutes but really nice!

I stayed a day in Villahermosa, my god it's such a shitty city. Haha hope you're not staying their for long. It's really shit. Even the river there has turned completely brown.

Palenque: Wowww!! It's amazing. Okay im gonna give you a pro tip:
Palenque is 2 parts: Palenque Tourist part, with all the lodges and restaurants
Palenque city: it's on the way too the archeological site. Here is where you take the collectivo to the archilogical site.

When u start to enter this site you'll go through a 'checkpoint' where you will have to pay a small fee. GET OUT HERE. Before going through, there is a road to the left, going a path that leads into the bush.

There in the jungle is a small village where you can can stay overnight. There is no website for this, there is no reservations. Go there and ask for the 'margarita & ed'. You will sleep in a little house in the jungle and from there they know some local guides who will take you into the jungle. You will go off route and will take you to the spider monkeys, tucans etc. Truly sensational.

Haha we don't gonna stay long in Villahermosa. We just gonna drop-off our car and take a plane back to Mexico-City and from there a plane to Belgium.
