Increase time before starting the match?

Heeeey people,

Maybe its possible to increase the countdown time before starting the match (at a new map).

The server already has a high ping, what causes a long time to connect for the 'real' people

.

Therefore the match is already started for a minute or so before the last people finally connect.

So maybe its possible to increase that time with 30 or 20 sec ?

sry warren but people who connect faster have to do the stupid warm up longer. i hate it, just running like stupid in youre own spawn and throw nades to kill time. no offense offcourse
i'll give a litle tip:
buy a new computer
or change from provider

well peps hope we ave a lot of fraggingtime and warmup will stay as it is (i hope)

Ahhh I see what u mean Gothicer But...

Even I, who have some of the fastest connections can barely make it in time to join the game, i have 4 sec left (according to the rest of the pings i see at the servers, most of the time wenszhopper and me have some of the lowest pings > except for daemon that is :lol:

).

But the problem is that the server doesnt have a stable and fast connection, most of the people there have a ping of +- around the 100

the strange thing is, in some maps i connect and warmup is for 10 sec and on other maps it is allready bussy.
but i dont care, it aint so bad. maybve 5 sec longer would be ok but i love ps1 because of low warmup. you know why (see first reply). i think its not my choise, its from gentec and bore. but i'll say no longer warmup except for 5 sec longer. i know deminwar has a wireless and needs more time(and some other players) but its probably something with connection.

And OF COURSE we know Palm in the Netherlands > very good beer

but dont know why there are so few admins around there.
Because in the evening there can be a lot of real people :wink:
