Inadequate O/S Privilegies

Sorry for opening new topic, but I have problem to connect to server PS#4. PB Always kicked me with this reason:

Server Disconnected - has been kicked via PunkBuster (for 0 minutes) ...
RESTRICTION : Inadequate O/S Privilegies.

I donÃ‚Â´t know what to do now, so If you have some Idea how to help me ...

I see it allot at PS4 now Punkbuster is enabled.

What kind of account do u have on your PC?
If u are a restricted user (not admin) u will get this message
a lot.

Try to login as administrator and play ET, or set your account
as power user (administrator).

There is also a workaround, if u cant use the administrator account on your PC:

first try to update your punkbuster

- there is a 'PB' map in your Enemy Territory game folder
- in that map open the program: pbweb.exe
- this may take a while, but your punkbuster will now be updated

If updating PB still dont work, try the following:
(use at your own risk! I didnt try this method)

Punkbuster FAQ scroll down to blocked O/S privileges

- download this program: http://www.downloads.subratam.org/VX2Finder.exe
- put the program in your 'PB' folder, located in your ET installation folder
- then open the VX2Finder.exe program, and click 'Restore'
(be sure to close down all programs, especialy ET)
- Your PC should reboot Automaticlly, If not Reboot your PC manually

After this u shouldnt get the warning anymore.
But if u play as Administrator on your PC u would not need this Workaround!

And use the last method At your own risk!

edit:
mm after reading I see that that program is just a search program
to remove some Adware/Spyware, your PC might be infected,
so use the program as described in the Punkbuster FAQ!

I got kicked from pb too!

First tiem i was on pb server i got kicked then a month or 2 ago i could join ps servers with pb on ::D!! And other too but now something happend and i can't join pb servers anymore!! What is wrong :'(

Do u get a fault notification Ammz?
If so look it up in the FAQ i posted above

And is your punkbuster up to date? If not run that program in your pb folder

Still canÃ‚Â´t connect

I play it as administrator.
I updated Punkbuster. pbweb.exe
i updated PunkBuster. pbsetup.exe in Punkbuster FAQ.
I tryed VX2Finger and Restore.

Any Idea what to do?

hi there is a simple ay to fix you problem, its nothing to do with the servers punkbuster, you need a bugfix to sort punkbuster out, because punkbuster is like this sometimes, it thinks that you have been cheating pb (e.g like a hack or something) bugfix searches pb and tells you what is wrong woth it.
, normally it is a pb source code but the bugfix is a patch to so you ont get anymore restrictions
