but maybe we can make a irc channel

i only need to know: can a normal irc-user create a irc channel or its better to do this via server?

and btw: mirc = irc ?

mirc = irc, yes

irc = internet relay chat. mIRC = a program for joining IRC-networks

next time you are in quakenet just just join #prime-squadron, because a normal user can create a chan - which i have done right now, so that it wont be taken. After some time with a certain amout of users beeing in that chan we can request a bot from Quakenet called L or Q which joins the chan then so that prime-squadron keeps that channel even if no1 is in that chan #prime-squadron.

L or Q whatever you prefer (L is smaller version of Q and thought to be used for smaller chans) helps you administrating the channel.

Ok i now have requested L for #prime-squadron on quakenet, but I need to know who should be boss of the bot. This person needs to connect to quakenet, join #prime-squadron and pm me there so that i can transfer rights. I'd prefrer if I already know the name of this person so that i won't get fooled by some idiot who wants to overtake a "one person chan"
