Maybe internet problem?

Hello everyone!
I am writing to try to solve a problem that I have not managed to resolve after 2 years.
When I play ET, every 60 seconds it freezes for a second (as you can see in the picture-->lag-o-mater is full yallow, than green and red) and I get connection interrupted.
It's very annoying when you turns the corner, see an enemy, it crash for a second or two and you find dead.

I have a router with a wifi key but I don't know if the problem is cause one of these or something else.
My neighbors do not have this problem.

Any ideas to resolve it?

i had problem with frezing ET after 3 sec and it was not updated PB
U had frezing screen when u are not connected on any servers and u have not loaded any mod?

determine whether its your wireless connection, a setting of ET or your computer:


put a cable from your wifi router to your pc and play => no lag = too long distance between router + pc

if its still laggy, then run an other game => still lag at the other game = its computer related

if an other game is not laggy, then its a setting of ET ...




i think its the distance between PC and wifi router ...

i can't put a cable from router to my pc, i was a cable of 12 metres but my brother broke it, so i can't try this.

finally!! but i have 200 of ping, but maybe is for bad internet connection -.-
