High Ping My ISP

Hi all, i have sky broadband and its the worse internet service provider in the UK, because of something called "Interleaving" on its service i dont know what that is but if i did i would disable it. does anyone know a way i can lower my ping?? my average ping is 85-150

do that in console and it'll work probally

You could try a 'tracert' see at which hop it takes the longest but other than that there is not a lot you can do about it im afraid.
(or perhaps there is a fish nibbling on the cables > find and destroy )

Start > execute/run > type 'cmd' > type 'tracert 213.239.219.249' - ps1 ip

But do yo also lag ingame or is it just a higher ping? Is there a difference between enabled and disabled pb servers?

When you change your timenudge its not a real ping you see. NQ players can use the /cg_drawping 1 command to show their actual ping

Well i don't lag in game with less players my connection is stable at 10 vs 10. but if i join ps2 god forbid its different i hate playing there my ping goes mental sometimes 200+
