[HowTo] Enable Punkbuster

A common problem with Punkbuster enabled servers is that players who want to join but didn't enable PB (Punkbuster) are kicked with the message 'You have been banned from this server'.

No worries, you aren't (really) banned, the first thing you need to check is if PB is enabled;

• Start-up ET and press 'Play Online'

• In the right down corner you can see a button called 'Enable Punkbuster', press that button to enable PB

• Then insert /reconnect in your console to reconnect to the server, you've been kicked from

Quick Methods

• Start-up ET
• Bring down the console
• Enter /pb_cl_enable
• To check if PB is enabled enter /pb_ver, and it should say something like; Punkbuster Client (v.1.274) Enabled
