Extremly high ping after installing W:ET

Hi guys,

It has been a while ago since I was online on one of the PS servers. Last week I decided to install W:ET again. Today, I installed W:ET. Patched it with patch 2.60 after that patched the .exe file (patch 2.60b). So I thought I was ready, opened ET. But I forgot to update PB. So I closed down ET, opened pbweb.exe. While PB was updating, I got strange errors, like

ERROR: Htm-to-Binary Conversion Failed ... htm\wa001382.htm Removed
File already exists: htm\wa001382.htm

Got this error around 7 times. But that isn't the main problem (I think). After I thought PB was updated (the file said I could close it, so did I) I connected to PS1. The strange thing is I've got 999ping. I can type things but I don't receive information (such as /players, /m |PS hi, !listplayers etc.). Otherwise I can see the chat, I hear sounds but I can't talk or, as I said, gather information.

Who knows a nice solution for these problems?

mostly you are allowed to use 20 or 40 ;)
