Did you already tryed basic steps?
-Scan your computer for viruses.
-Reinstall ET (but save your ETkey file). It should help.
-Update PB

all what i found from google was that there is something wrogn with et.exe or something. so it could be hax or virus

so try scan your computer for viruses and other that kind of shit...

I've had the same problems at my old PC. Have you set your /com_hunkmegs ? My computer can't play with /com_hunkmegs 128 so I found with a weird way that my pc only play with /com_hunkmegs 80. chainge your settings?

Have you scanned your pc for viruses already?

If your own scanner can't find anything;

- download and run (a full scan) Malwarebytes
- the online virus scan from Trend Micro

Its sad to say but I had the same problem after connecting to ps 5 yesterday evening.

I did not had much time and just wanted to frag a little so I did not try to solve it yesterday (but went to ps 1 ...)

(With all probs I have lately I think I will do format c: pretty soon ...)

Do copy of your et profile folder(if u want save ur xp)
reinstal ET
delet all wolf ET and pb files(becoz if u uninstal et then all file not be cone)
scan with antivirus or something like that
do restart(pc)
instal ET again
replace ur profil(all ur xp)

and if its not work
then cant help u

only thing i can add out of my experience is:

i had prob times ago that my whole ET was orange^^

was horrible (see here )

well i found out it was only of a map i downloaded and had in my etmain folder,.. dont wanna tell how long i need to find it out. and luckily i realized when i was on my way to add it to server^^ when i deleted map out of etmain, whole game was again normal.. map was from wolfenstein filefront whatever... tobruk.pk3 or similar

just wanna say.. could be one file that u dont expect.. maybe try to save etmain/ nq folder and try singlewise copying for examplet or check by last added file which came in this time since you know the prob

edit: but must admit.. wont have much to do with pb related probs

Easier would be to just delete all *.pk3 files. They will be downloaded again if you connect to a server as usually.

If the problem occurs again, you should exactly know which file - or at at least which server - is responsible for the boo boo...

Anyway, most problems (with files) can be fixed by downloading them again. Sometimes its helpfull to download them manually in the browser (instead of ingame).

Regarding to the error message, a bad file is quite likely to be the reason. So, i would recommend following:
- copy your etkey file to a save place
- delete _ALL_ (eh, of course only ET folder - not the whole disc :wink:

)
- reinstall ET and patches

If that doesn't help, the problem shouldn't have anything to do with ET.
Have you tried other games (maybe also PB protected ones)?

Another reason (again regarding to the kick-msg) could be your RAM ("corrupted memory"). Then you should check it with memtest86(+). This isnt a windows-prog. You need to download it manually and burn it on CD OR (easier): Get an Ubuntu Live CD (any). There you just have to choose "memory test" (see pic) and the rest gets done automatically.

You need to run this test about an hour (longer=better). If any errors occur, you'll see them instandly.
And if so -> your RAM is f*cked up and you should get new one.

But at first you should ensure that no files are broken (see above). :beware:

First of all thnxs for all our help guys.

When I said I reinstalled ET. I deleted everything ... all maps, all crap ...everything except et key (thats btw ur xp "saver" and not ur profile ...)

Turned of antivirus. I had a fresh ET, connected to PS 5, downloaded automaticly the stuff and after a minute in the map I got kicked by pb again.

Updated pb, again kick.

Connected to ps4, in Jaymod no problem.
