Reload on mouse button2.

Postby DMG_Kowi » Wed Aug 04, 2010 13:02

I have such problem and it only appears on ps3: in options>controls I have only 'R' for reload but for unknown reason my character also reloads when I click second (right) mouse button. In options>controls second mouse button is for 'switch to alternate'. I also looked into nq settings, but haven't found anything that makes it happen.

ehh, only reason I can think up of is this: There are 2 commands for mouse2 (standard), which changed during the nq version.

Its

attack2
and
weapalt

Maybe if you now have the one, change to the other and it might work ;)

No, the real problem, and A BIG problem is that during fight you may click it by accident and it's a present for your opponent who takes you down easily.

Anyway, thanks for advices.

It's better to give an explanation than just to give the solution, that way people will pay more attention Goku ;) so I'll do that for you.

When you're using a weapon that doesn't have a secondary fire mode, then pressing the secondary fire button will reload the weapon. This is the case for:

- Pistol (Luger/Colt 45)
- SMG (MP40/Thompson/StG 44/Sten)
- Shotgun

To remove this function of ET, you need to enter the following CVAR into your config or into your ET console:

"(/)seta cg_weapAltReloads "0" "

for adding it directly into your console, you need to enter the /. In the CFG, leave it out.
