Mouse Buttons (Unresolved)

I don't know if Logitech and other mouse manufacturers have changed this via newer drivers yet or not, but with my MX700 and Mouseware, I have some trouble. All but the 2 standard buttons plus the wheel and middle-click do not work unless Mouseware is at least opened while the game is running. This is true of many games, including ET.

I used to have a very small piece of software that worked around this so I could use mouse buttons 4 and 5.

Do any of you know a work around for this or have access to this piece of software.

i have a razor copperhead and in dont have to open the the software to use MOUSE5 (clicking the mousewheel) or MOUSE3, MOUSE4 etc

Maybe you have to bind it and not click it in the config.

So /bind MOUSE5 weaponbank5 (?) for example.

I thought perhaps the same thing. However, I've done it both ways. The mouse buttons simply do not register, whether it is bound in a .cfg or from the game menu. If I select a function to bind in the menu, when I click mouse 4 or 5... nothing.
