Some Linux backup

Postby GoldenBullet » Wed May 16, 2007 16:37

Im running Linux atm, and theres no advice in FAQ to linux, only windows.
I want to lower the console, but i dont know what button I have to press :/
Its not that button between TAB and ESC.

Edit: Ok I found the solution already. it was AltGr + ^
Have nice gaming!

Yo again. Im gonna save my ETkey for a case of an accident, But I cant find and ETkey named file from ETmain folder in this linux. Is it hidden? If is, how U show hidden files? Or does it have different name?

yes, the etkey file is probably in a hidden folder in your home directory, NOT in your installation directory.

just show hidden files in your file manager (presumably nautilus -> ctrl-h or in the menu somewhere). the file should be somewhere like:

/home/.etwolf/etmain

in linux directories with a . are hidden.

open a terminal, change to the directory that contains your installer and give it permissions:

Code: Select all
sudo chmod u+x et-linux-2.60.x86.run

then run it:

Code: Select all
sudo sh et-linux-2.60.x86.run
