Hi my computer is resetted all of and now my brother installd Et if i try to join the server Error Missed Protocol between player and server

and a hole list under it do somebody can help me with this problem

Screenshot? And exact error message pls.

You said "when you connect to server", so your et starts normally but you cant join to server? Can you see servers in the serverlist?

E: And if the error gives some code (numbers), post it here :p

Your brother probably forgot to install the patches (at least 2.60). Connecting without a patched client (2.55) to a patched server (2.60) usually results in a 'Protocol Mismatch'.

Download 2.60 and 2.60b

In that case the error message would be "protocol mismatch between client and server" or something like that.
If so, install the 2.60 patch and thats it. (link: http://returntocastlewolfenstein.filefr ... dows;39483)
