Need help for a lan party

Right, my counterstrike clan is hosting a lan party in half a year and i could use some help with a few things.

We are planning to organise an ET compo, these tourny's will be hosted on one of the gamers pc's (prob mine) but i dont know what i need to run it (eg. scripts etc.. admin stuff). I got no idea how this works in ET and where i need to put those files.

If someone could help me figures this out I would be very gratefull

I dont know much about that.
but i think you should put that files in the mod you use. so if you use NQ. put it there..

But that's for linux .. uhm, the etded.exe should open up the dedicated server you would like to host, but if you want Noquarter, levels etc. that will take at least a couple of hours of your time if you're good, but never done this before

if u just want to play pure et, then go to et -> host and play. others can see ur server in lan servers list.

download stuff of etpro (server settings) with the dll

make a map etpro if you dont have it yet and put all those files in there too.
then program the server.cfg at your own settings how you wish to have it.

after that like someone said earler.

open etded.exe
and if its not loaded yet. when etded is opened you see a line down near exit button.
where you can type things and type exec server.cfg
make sure server.cfg is in etpro folder aswell

start et up
and gp play online instead you have internet or favorite go to local
you see your server standing there,

if not scroll up abit at etded and you will see an ip adres thats the ip useally people can join your server and also you
