Problem getting in :S

Each time i try and log on, it the game freezes and this thing comes out.



Maybe its nothing bad, but i wouldnt know, im not computer geek

Reinstall ET. pak0.pk3 (pk3 is an archive) are the basic maps/models/sounds of ET.

well he misses a more files than ONLY pak0.pk3
I suggest for PS servers have this files in etmain dir:
pak0.pk3
pak1.pk3
pak2.pk3
ui_mp_x86.dll

That wont help. This ETconsole error log abort the game start long before connecting to a server. If error appears, replacing the corrupted files seems to be the only solution. a backup of the whole Wolfenstein folder is recommened anyway.

Ok so i reinstalled ET (goku told me) and it didnt do nothing. So then i went on google and searched for ET.pakwatever and it got me in different forums of ppl who had same prob. Apperantly, having more then 500 pk3 files causes this problem . So finally ET works, ty for help

Okay, i forgot to suggest that: It can/often help to delete pk3 files if you collected very much of them over months/years. A easy way to find the "junk files":
Sort them via filesize and delete everything <1MB - EXCEPT "pak1" and "pak2".pk3.
(You can also delete bigger files, but they are usually maps - and there is no reason to delete them imo. You never know if you once will play them again, and then have to DL again).
When i had this "recursive error" it did not help me but reinstalling did.

Also some "sources" suggest to delete unused mod folders and content of mod folders to "clean up" them from older versions. If this has any relevance i dont know but i now said it to exclude nothing of my knowledge It may also damage your insallation.

Tip: uninstalling ET won't delete your ET folder, so when you want to really clear things up remember to delete your folder too...exept your etkey ofcourse!

i was playing a few hours ago, i exited the game
now i can't connect to a server and when i close et i see that console text also now,
