Hunk allocate problem

Hunk allocate problem

Hi everyone !

I'm having a problem connecting to the server when the map Stargate was on.
It keeps giving me an error:


" Hunk_allocateTempMemory : failed at 262200 "



I tried with com_hunkmegs 128 and 256 but it didn't change anything.

How can I fix this please :)?

In console /com_hunkMegs 512 or 1024

Doesn't PS1 only allow 128 hunkmegs?

It's a minimum recommendation, it won't have any impact on the server itself.

In fact, ET won't even use more than 192mb, using more is just as useless as using snaps over 20 or rate's over 30000. High (extreme) hunkmeg values on low-end systems can also have a negative impact on your loading times but that doesn't seem that big of an issue these days.

What probably went wrong in MoB's case is that his earlier values were only latched in his settings. A safer approach is to edit your hunkmegs directly in your etconfig.cfg (for etmain and mods) with notepad++ or a similar editor.
