PS4: Closing down

After a discussion in AF (Admin Forum) we decided it was time to close down PS4, until further notice.

PS4 will be deactivated at: Friday, May 15th

One of the reasons is of course, the lack of player activity over the last few months (and the absence of Poring as server owner). A while ago PS4 was given a 2nd (last) chance with JayMod, but after a short revival of only a few weeks PS4 was back where it started, empty.

Another, even more important reason for the shut-down, is that even though the server is empty, it's still hogging up very valuable CPU and Memory usage on the root server. This usage could be put to far better use by PS2, PS5 and the website, which are currently running on the same root.

A thank you goes out to all players and Fomoks that made PS4 (Fomoksland) such a great server over the past few years.

yes sad indeed, it is my first server where i started playing actively. had my record 300k xp there too. i remember when it started dieing, many fomoks went to PS#5 and members visited it rarely.

I'm not a fomok and i usually didn't play there.
But it's sad to see the end of a server full of story.

Some players spoke me of that and i fighted vs fomok in FW

i'll play tomorrow for the goodbye party.

I dont play much in PS#4 but it still hurting me that one of the PS server closing.
We have to give it a great goodbye party!

i am so sorry to hear ps4 will be closing down never played there much but heard it was a great server hope it will be back some day
