New Server on our lovely PS!!!

Hey boys and girls!

As you may have understand, we are going to put up a new server, running ET NQ 1.2.9 of course! The new born will be the outcome of the fusion between the current PS#3 and PS#5 servers, in order to provide you more fun and a different gameplay from our their brother PS#1.
The most important thing is that the IP will be 178.63.72.111:27962, so note it down, learn it by heart and don't forget it when it's time to connect!

The new server will be cured by the 3 biggest noobs of PS family, also known as Ninjadeer, Sebbel and Stephan.
About technical things, like server settings, we are still discussing them and of course the opinions of our regulars will be highly considered. So don't hesitate to post whatever comes to your mind here.

The official switch day is programmed for the 6th of April!!
We are already planning some nice inauguration party with the precious help of our Event Committee, no doubt that it will be really funny!

Also, what will be the name/number of the new server?

Official word for the server regulars will be 'nab' by the way, no doubts.

The name of the future server is under discussion/debate on our member forum. We did'n t make it public ,its already a hard stuff to make all agree on little member circle so you can imagine what would be the mess here on forum with all people coming out with their idea

. A poll is running with some suggestions we picked up on our discussions, hope it will satisfy a majority of our players but no matter the future name, the most important will be the spirit and guidline of the server. We want it welcoming, friendly and full of fun and comradship.

Understandable to keep in the member section ofcourse. Was just a bit of curiousity from my side.

Though, if you guys can't get to a proper outcome, I would highly recommend one of the following suggestions:

For quiet obvious reasons one of the following two:

PS#Davies-is-god
PS#inhonourofDAVIES

Blazing will love this one:

PS#PurplePinkPleasure

For not liking 'nab' as name for the regulars:

Since the TF2 server is gone and PS5 is going down, I think its to reduce costs (all the servers on the 88.198.62.41 root will be gone).

It's a shame, but nothing can last forever.

The website is also on the same root as PS#5. The other one is just faster I guess.

Yeah it is a shame but the TF2 didn't work out really well. We tried.

TF2 is just off-topic here, but the server has some issues that hopefully will be resolved by next steam update.

Yep back to the topic, roots stuffs are Lands job, he is the owner and its up to him to manage it as he want. The main reason of this topic is not only announce the outcoming of a new server but also collect your whiches about the future server and by that i mean setting stuffs. You want it more "obj" or "fun" or a mix of both etc ...
As usual, owners can't follow all your suggestions and satisfy all but the goal is to try to have the best settings which would make the majority agree and happy. So, feel free to post here your opinions, suggestions and what you would have running on the PS "X" (the baby will be named soon

). April will coming soon so avoid off topics and get focused on your future server

Would be nice for the server to be focused on playing the objective, since PS doesn't have that at the moment

I can give you some hints for the discussion:

- do you want bots on server? How many?
- do you want all heavy weapons available? And how do you want it (rocket speed, rocket directionable, mortar cam and so on...)
- do you want double jump in all maps, or in some maps should be disabled?

EDIT to Flower's post!: I suggest doublejump on all maps, expect certain maps like... Special delivery, Radarbase (I think it's called) etc.
