Saturday 13th March 2010 at 18:00 (GMT +1) will start Prime Squadron Cup 3on3 #2.

Rules:

* All matches are played in ETPro Stopwatch 3on3 mode with a CB/ESL global3 config.

* 8 or 16 teams are playing a single-elimination playoff tree. Cup admins will pick teams in case there are more than 8 or 16 applicants. The main criteria are PS regularity of the players and 'first come, first serve'. However, the selection is non-negotiable. Sign-up either closes on Saturday March 13th at 17:00 pm gmt+1 or earlier if the cup admins decide to close sign-ups.

* The match is played on at least 1 map. One SW round (attack/defence) will be played on each map. Team which wins cointoss will choose side.

* In case the game is tied after the first map, an extra round MUST be played on one of the remaining maps from the map list. The second map will be selected using the elimination system. The winner of the cointoss selects the next map. When a map is selected, the team which didn't have final pick chooses who attacks first.

* Client net settings: snaps 20, maxpackets 100, timenudge 0.

* If you think your opponent is cheating contact cup admins on #prime-squadron.com @ qnet.

* All players have to record a demo. If the opponent or admin requests your demo you are obliged to upload it. No demo = forfeit loss.

* Banned guids are obviously not allowed.

* At least 1 player from each team has to check in 30 mins. before the cup starts at the irc channel (#prime-squadron.com @ quakenet.org) and stay in the channel in order to get server ip's (if needed) and announce match scores. .

yes, dropping out in 1st round is a bit of an anti-climax

i would suggest a loser bracket for 8 teams anyway (especially if only 1 map per round is played, as it is now). like that you get a 2nd match if you fail in round 1.

For like people who r used to etpro (icy's team, unhits, etc..) and the other random NQ teams..
