Colombia - Ivory Coast was poor in 1st half but became very entertaining in the 2nd one.

England - Uruguay, man, another brilliant match from group D - fast play with many opportunities. Suarez has shown that he is one of the top strikers nowadays. But Rooney, ehh.. :D

Unfortunately Japan - Greece was rather poor match, cause Greeks (typically for them) played pure anti-football.

--------

Dammit, dat Costarica! :D Who would have even expected this before WC? Now England is finally off the boat, while Italy and Uruguay gonna play for their lifes.

Wow 5-2 is real deal. France is strong, however I'd like to see them against really strong opponents. But anyway, they were very efficient today and on the other hand I'm happy that Switzerland struck them back, with this first goal from freekick being really, really nice.

Omg, wtf with that Argentina? Iran was playing uber-defensively but c'mon, this is Iran. Good that Messi can win a match with one kick.
Also Germany - Ghana one of the best matches so far if we speak about 2nd half. Everyone expected Axis to dominate over Ghana, but at some moments Axis were in real trouble. But anyway draw is a fair score and GHA vs POR is going to be interesting.
Bosnia - Nigeria, *beep* please, again referees sucked little bit against Bosnia, disregarding the fact that today Nigeria played better football.

Fast foods are pretty strong!
Would like to see Germany, Ghana AND Fast Food to go through but it's probably over for Ghana.

Belgium - Russia maybe the worst match so far, Hazard's last 10 minutes made it for Belgium. Algeria vs. Korea was pretty great, was surprised how Algeria smacked them in 1st half. Fortunately Korea started to play football in 2ng half. :D
Everyone has to admit, that for a long time Portugal REALLY LUCKILY led 1-0 (defence mistake at 5' and dat wasted has-to-be-goal by Bradley). Finally US was so so so close to 1/8 final already and then in last action CR finally played some football in this tournament. Tho Portugal is still in much harder position in terms of advancing to next stage.

In Algeria vs Korea... Algeria exploit Korean hopeless play in defence. There was no agresion on ball, no jump to enemy with ball, in 1 word passive play. In second half was much better and i had impresion Algeria was defending score too early on their panelty box.

About Portugal -- draw is nice score for Portugal with such an injures they have, and had to change Postiga after 15 min... Its miracle they did it afterall. They show that this is veery strong team even with such a problems. :good: :good: :good: USA have incredible condition and nothing more. Portugal did it by brilliant technique of single players.

Belgium -- in Belgium there is so much good players, but no team at all. Dunno why are they black horse of this WC :wth:

Last matches in group B didn't have too much meaning, so they were averagely interesting. Good that some goals were scored. But in group A there were emotions. Nice win by Mexico, for Brazil it was a must to slap Cameroon. Neymar showed that he got what it takes to be World Cup star.

Uruguay - Italy and England - Costarica so low and boring. Italians lost on their own wish. By such defensive and destructive play, they begged for that goal.

Nice game by Colombia, they seem to be quite strong. Greeks just very very lucky. One goal after terrible defence mistake, another after penalty in last minute... (tho dat 2 shots in crossbar :/) Taking first two matches into consideration - poor loss vs Colombia and anti-football vs Japan I don't think they really deserve that 1/8 final. Just lucky bastards, but this is football after all.

Yeee, Messi rules, Argentina - Nigeria best match today. Bosnia also did good job vs Iran, unluckily they got eliminated from World Cup due to referee's mistake (vs Nigeria).
I felt asleep at group E matches, but from replays I see that France - Ecuador were many many wasted opportunities (golkeepers' saves) and Switzerland - Honduras was a Shaqiri's show.
