Yeah, we had a little talk about it on server yesterday and I agree with you PowerFlower. I think also it is time to remove the almighty Goldrush from PS 1.

if you remove Goldrush, this holy map for some regular ps 1 players, what map you suggest? no way...i vote for stay Goldrush :)

If the Allies have the upperhand,
Axis is getting raped in there own spawn Exits with mortar, Artillery etc etc, and the Allies dont think about the Gold and never clear the map by objective win.

If the Axis have the upperhand,
Axis stay inside with there Goldenbox and no Allied get there.

Whatever the situation is.....it sucks imho.

This is with many-Full players
with less like 5vs5 in midday or morning it cool.

pls reconsider the map with point of views like this ;)

I agree that when you're axis and allies are dominating the map is not much fun anymore. But what about changing it the to SUpergoldrush or another version. This way the axis have way better game and personally I like Supergoldrush veeeryy much :)

This is called "Defending the objects" not camping.
Allies who stays on the bridge and continuesly fire near spawn exit, this is CAMPING!
They're supposed to attack and take the gold. Blocking exits can be very useful if you go for obj, but if you stay on your position, sorry but this is lame camping, no way. And in this way the map become very boring, as me and Viduus personally observed last night.
i think we just need a break from our beloved Goldrush, just a couple of weeks and we it' will be back on rotation i hope that people would aprecciate it more.

Words.

Now about Goldrush itself, the map will stay on rotation and in same version (all other versions are just crapy or laggy). The whole other 14 maps are changed regulary, so don t think that a single one map will be so hard to handle, noob decision or not, well i just don t care :) .

I like the goldrush map i just liked to see another version but as bowy said to much lags and crap so:(

dutchhaze is really bad map
laggy and boring
i suggest either byzantine, resurrection or parisbastille
edit: or railgun :p but i know lots of people dont like that, perhraps fueldump instead, 1 more original map would be good but not oasis :p

byzantine, to small, (if i have understand post above)
parisbastille, i liked this map, has been in for al long time, dont know why it is out? same for resurrection.

fueldump is way to small.
railgun is bad map imo.


maybe hydro dam? :D

Totally agree with you. I would remove Cortex cause of Sk/Sc problems (I made my kicking spree record of 8 there) and also Snatch. The map is nice itself but the mortars totally destroy the gameplay.

So 5 maps in and 5 out now. even :D

Removing Grave Robbery is bad idea!
When Tower gets removed plz put another fun map in campaign! some distraction is always cool!

Dubrovnik would be good, but for 40 players don't know. Still can try

:bad: Cortex and Snatch, imho the worst playable maps

Tower seems to be very good and fun, also golden dunk was fun

The problem with snatch is that artillery, Riflegrenade, and all HW's dominate the whole map. It would be a good map when rnade is disabled, 1 fo a team, and only mobile mg's as Heavy Weapon!

It was removed and wont back cause the stupidity of some who like testing us with doing SK and SC, so the best way was to remove it befor i going crazy and ban half of the server :wink: .



I was also thinking about Hydro dam for Snatch, about dutchhaze i still don t know if i will give a try with the final version or completley remove it, will check your requests and see.

@Minas was long time in PS1 rotation, it wont be added again for the moment. Industry cause some great lags and don t realy works well on PS1, as some othr maps like Fuel dump or baserace, pity but it s just a no sense to add maps when i already know that no one or at least a majority of players wont be be able to play them :wink: .
