I made some times ago a ultrakill with satchell.... so its good possible
I played dead et the end of a exit noone could pass me, stand up fweeet and ultra xD
Btw i think the discussion is closed now, we will see the results in ps1 since Bowdown said he is going to add it. When there complaints, just post them here!

Summary: As long as satchels are distinguishable, I say it's at least worth a try. If not, then no for satchels would become too powerful.
Ammz wrote:If we are talking about PS 1 and let us as an example take the Goldrush axis' last spawn.
Now as probably most of all know PS1 is the most crowded server we have so when the axis spawn you will get a whole bunch of axis coming out and not just a few.
1. A satchel disguised as a med pack is in front of the 1st exit and the engy's go weee full HP for me! He runs over to it and suddenly he hears a sound and he goes -> and then -> x( ...
The engineer died, so what do the rest of the axis do? They will run and pretend like nothing happened? No, I know I wouldn't... I would search for that damn covert ops! And if I can not find him I will choose to hide behind some bushes to find out where that scumbag is hiding!
If the covert ops has hacked the server and is invisible we will never find him! So what do the clever and super experienced axis player do? ...
He chooses to go an other way and avoid the motar fire, artilleries, air strikes, rifle grenades, grenades, bazooka rockets and satchels
Yes, I understand your point of view and agree to an extent. However other maps would offer more negative examples. The one I was thinking is Oasis. Both axis spawns are much more vulnerable to concealed satchels. Either the covert ops can get above the spawn (the first one) or there are numerous small exits (the second one). Both offer a quick escape to the covert and - especially the last one - too many places to search for the covert.
Ammz wrote:Now, Vaakku you are talking about the worst case scenario.
I am. I'm not talking of what would certainly happen but instead what could happen in addition to (hopefully) an enhanced gameplay. I'm hoping to bring a more balanced view to the discussion and argue the downsides as well. Many others just state they like this for unknown reasons but you at least bother to share your views and for that I thank you.
Ammz wrote:New spawned players have at least 100 hp so they would have to stand VERY close to the satchel in order to be killed.
This is also not effective as a weapon because you will have to wait for the damn energy bar to load until you can use an other.
The covert ops would need to place himself in a location that no one passes by and a location where no one can see him either.
Even after throwing a couple of satchels he would have to relocate himself in order to save his life from the axis who found out where he was hiding.
The disguised satchel is much more effective as a weapon while being in disguise and in a combat zone, because the enemy will run towards it so they can get some hp.
I dunno if I am the only one, but I never get to kill any body that had full HP with a satchel, even if they weren't medics! I guess I just suck at this or the damage from satchels are higher at ps1? And lower at PS5?
I might not be accustomed enough with the satchel, but I've had the belief that it is more deadly. Not any empirical study on the matter to present though, no.
Besides, I usually encounter covert ops whose main advantage is mobility. They don't hide much and certainly not twice in the same place. Instead they go with the flow and hope they'll go unnoticed amongst enemy troops. They are sometimes annoying enough in itself, but if they were armed with 'grenades' that draw enemies towards themselves, it'd be too much.

Then our opinions concur and I hope most others will share the same view as well. I am by no means against the implementation, should it work fine like that. And as Bowdown stated, the true results can only be seen in action.
Quack!

omg need a meedicc!! XD
is possible kick the satchel medpack on the cvops-medic..? then he can heal himself! XD
You know, thats not really true. There more tricks to act like a other class:
Walking with smoke canisters as immitating a field ops
Walking with poison needle as immitating medic
Or walking with one pistol (screw the silencer of it) immitating medic
and so on...
But still you would be a bit right cause you can "use" the medpack really

... or just walking with MP40 since all(?) PS servers have that insanity mod turned on.
Imo the idea of making medic box looking stachel is that its EXACTLY like medic box. Having red cross on it will decrease the chance of fooling a person drastically.
Having stachel infront of Goldrush spawn wont have imo much more effect on what it is now. If people notice suspicious looking medpacks infront of their spawnentrance, ofc they will avoid it.
