PS2 - Errors / Bugs / Suggestions
Hey Guys & Girls,
as some may noticed, Crossyard was away for some time, so i took the next step to support PS #2 again as much as i can. Together with Sleyvas we gonna own PS #2 from now on and we'll try to make it more populair again. Suggestions are allways welcome.

From now on, we gonna run only a 6 Map Standard campaign, to get again life into PS #2 and i'm pretty sure that's the way to go. i won't change this campaign for some time now, maybe for 2-3 weeks, maybe for 1 or 2 months, only time will tell. but still feel free to add ur loved maps in the topic mentioned above.
All kind of other suggestions, propositions and ideas can be posted in this topic. We decided to disable the Punkbuster for now, cuz a lot of people got a way too much trouble with it, and we are the best human punkbusters anyway.
so take care, and bring ur ass to PS #2!

I have a suggestion for facilitate an imput from new players:
- to give for all class (soldier, medic, engenieer, field_op, cv_ops) like entry_level, the 4th... like PS3 system.

Hey Paco,
nice idea at all, but i also like the idea ppl got to earnt every level, also nice to have a bit differend kind of servers at all, so i will keep the classsystem like it is for now

nah NQ 1.2.3 will stay for now, since it's the most populair mod these days we gonna stay on this. maybe some time we can think about changing the mod, but atm this is not the case.

I have some suggestion that i found on other server:
In general:
When you push someone he gets more away than standard setting
Knife is doing more damage
so that is balanced its easier to kill but also easy to push them away
Class settings:
Soldier has venom, but no panzerfaust + no adre
Engineer has all weapons (shotgunbug?) + speed and healtimproving adre
medic has akimbos but no adre
fieldops has no adre
covops has speed + health adre
Those are cool settings for a fast and balanced gameplay
i dont know how to put them in server config, but it would be cool to test or it fits.

Cov op has weak weapons, and btw also other classes have more knife dmg.. and when you can push harder someone cant touch you with knife, so you have to be stealthy.

@ smadje: for now i gonna try to change as less as possible. at all i allready like the settings souly & ichi setted up that time ago and i don't rly want to f**k that up. of c we could give it a try, but not now. anways thanks for this proposition, the pushing more far away / knife with more damage could have a try. venom's i won't enable, i will keep the mess as low as possible. medic will have akimbos + adre for now. disabling adre was also in my mind but there are a lot of ppl which like to play with adre so i guess this would be decided in a vote, if more people as u and me are interested in setting it off for medics or general. it's sure possible to change all the things u mentioned out at the server, will see what we gonna do the next days / weeks / months, step by step changing is the best imo, to get as much people as possible around.

@ garfield: jupp that's also in my mind, mostly no HW at PS #2, it's setted allready like that, 1 mg + 1 mortar per team and nothing else for now. gonna see it works like that with more people around.

@ diamond: ye, guess it's the best to keep the most stuff simple like it is atm, gonna try to stick on this.
@ all: if someone rly feels annoyed by a setting or there is something that got just to be changed in ur mind, just tell me and i'll think about it and open another topic about it where it can be discussed and voted.
but at all for now it seems most people allready like the settings as they are.

That's what I'm talking about. Some kind of group of regulars who could bring life back to the server. More regulars on server --> new people search for filled servers --> more new players --> more regulars --> wheel closes.

The-1-stick-adre was legendary idea in the past and I still feel its awesome :) You can quickly leave spawn with it and you are quickly there where you should be.
1. Agreed with funner. If you hit head with FG/sten/MP34, you will quickly take care any medic. Also you didnt even mentione sniper rifles! THE BEST WEAPONS IN ET!!!
2. Pushing is lame.
About HW: If there must be HW, let it be MG and mortar (like it is now?). Venom, Flamer and Panzer are just big TB/TK weapons and also ruin the fun. Becides PS#2 gives a lot variety to other servers with its minimal ammount of HW!
