- Added the Map Fata Morgana PS #2 Players voted for (New Map Decision) (See: PS 2 - Current Campaign)
i got a proposition myself, would like to discuss about a map i saw like 1-2 years ago at PS #2, called Hindenburg. Not sure if a lot of ppl would be interested in it now, prolly we would miss some people cuz of it, since it's not that famous map at all, but yay, maybe some time we could give it a try
Objective: Allies must steal the decoder from the Axis test base. They must carry the decoder to the Hindenburg 2 blimp.

Flash back, It was on spring about 2 years ago.
I remeber, It wasn't complicated map and have cool ambience .
It's nice to bail out this map because isn't present on PS' servers rotation.It could attract new players . 4 me it's ok.
P.S. is it possible to add it on new map decision topic?

nah the old vote is kinda closed, but after some days/weeks i gonna open a new one with new maps so u guys can decide from new

Looks cool ice,
still i would chose for this time more well known maps before adding total new ones. Worth a try after some weeks, when there hopefully more people.

dont really know the new maps but i think we should suggest firstly relativly small maps because the server doesnt overcrowded yet like ps1.
i think fatamorgana, which is also small but it can be very boring when only 4-6 ppl on the server.

Remove fatamorgana, tht map sucks.
Also dont add 1944 beach because it sucked.
Add ET beach though, tht map is awesome.../etice/adlers/supply/oasis/goldrush/radar/bremen/dubrovnik these should be added(well i know they are already there so they should stay
)

@ blasius: ye indeed, we won't add big maps for now, that's also not the point of PS #2 at all, quality gaming is more important here. about fata morgana, maybe it can be boring, but it's some kind of competition style between even 4-6ppl and can bring some fun. anyway there will be new maps in the future, so PS #2 won't get boring as u can see at the PS 2 - Current Campaign, there was allready some adds in the meantime

well, it seems i am the only one who like dubrovnik, because its a small map without lag (at least at me).
baserace is a map where i always got lag and it doesnt depends on which server i have playing. perhaps on ps2 where is not so many ppl can be playable. give it a try

upgrade ur gfx card, u lag - others dont.

i like the desert one, it has perfect atmosphere imo. its repetitive yes, but its a ctf type of a map and thats how these maps come, "repetitive". why do u think its overrated or what is overrated in this map?

i guess i won't add a new map for now, but if it have to be baserace, then it will be baserace desert imo.

Its overrated because its not as good as people say it is. There are far better maps, also only the first 5/10 min of baserace are good, as soon as one of the teams have a decent base, it gets pretty damn boring.
Another thing is tht when the teams are imbalanced, the axis or the allies stand no chance because one of the teams will have his base twice as big as the other in no time and this ruins the game...
Its not tht Im totally against baserace but I think it lost its originality. Maybe we should look for other "not tried" maps instead of putting old ones which arent very good(so Im not talking about supply/siwa/goldrush etc).
I also have a suggestion, why dont we make a static map pool(all the times same map: (supply adler etc) and 2 maps which switch on a (weekly/monthly base).
You make a poll with the current map and 2 or more maps where people can vote on, the map with the most votes will be added. That way you can please a larger part of the community.
For example: You have Venice running after a vote but after 1 month you want to change the map. Now you make a poll and you saw in the comments tht some people like minas tirith and dubrovnik or whatever.
Poll:
Venice;
Dubrovnik;
Minas Tirith.
The map with the most votes will be added to the campaign.
