[PS1] Map Suggestions

How about trying some UJE maps ?
The one I like and seems to be a nice map is

Maps like ET-tower only will be played, since players on PS1 prefer it. And since PS1 runs NQ1.2.3 instead off 1.2.9 we don't even have the possibility.

Well, from my experience in PS 3 i can that Tower is one of the most played maps.
I agree with Smadje, most of players like it. I can give a little hint: just see it as fun map and not only frag frag frag

I am really sure it is like this. PS1 is not a server where everyone likes objective focused maps, but just fragging, chatting and fun. Most regulars like to play maps where they can frag, like Goldrush, Venice and also ET-tower. The objective is not the focus, try out PS2 for objective and harder playing.

For sure not a problem. NQ1.2.3. is really a reliable and good mod in the series, from 1.2.7 the hitboxes are not that good in my opinion, and many others support this. Besides that we don't need 3 the same servers wich got all map voting + the same mod. map voting is most effective where there need to be maps that require a certain amount off players (like small maps for not that much players) and since ps1 almost always is crowded, a vote system is not necessary. Besides that it is the most crowded ps server, so no reason to change anything.

The current map rotation must be pretty good in general as there was not a single post (i.e. complaint) for two whole weeks. Nonetheless, something to improve:
The main problem with Bergheim is that it's far too easy for allies. I mean they have to hold the flag for 3 minutes in total, not in a single period. Thus axis must hold it for at least 27 (?) minutes. Spawns change according to who is holding the flag so the layout of attack and defense in turns is similar for both teams. Yet allies are given a huge advantage for just because they are the initial attackers? Doesn't make much sense to me.
About Minas then... I'll save that for a later time.

I agree, tower is a great map. The only bad thing is that it should map should be changed or the settings. I would like to get more time on the map, so instead of first to 500, it should be first team to 999
That should give a playtime of 25-35min instead of now, map is over in like 10-15min.
The best map right now for me is UJE VIP map. It is great.

The problem is I can hardly see any fun there. GoldenDunk is fun for me, but ET_tower not. fights around tower are not real fights and jumping/fighting concentrated aroud this tower has no sense.

no need a hole brunch of story of how u think about (1 kind map) ettower is and shall be part of ps#1 aslong ppl dont request to replace it.
many people love it in their own way.
perhaps u dislike it, then srry to say it in a kinda rude way but you have to deal with it we have plenty other server wich tower issnt appear in rotation then join that server instead keep whining here bout tower map

The map script could be changed, or shorter map 15min, or longer flag holding time 8 minutes.

OUT: Praetoria Mission2 - just slow and boring, for some ppl lag a lot as well.
IN: Fueldump - havent seen it here long long time.
