[PS1] Map Suggestions
++ for Vaakku for such a complex analysis of the problem. He didn't waste his time just like u didn't waste yours for reading article that doesn't interest you.
Point 2.1 describes something about Minas that I realized long ago, but most people still doesn't see this.
Minas is BIG, so people say "such big map is good for ps1, cause many ppl play on ps1". But exactly as you written minas is like chain of smaller maps. Despite minas' size, at particular moment all fights take place on quite limited area and this situation IS NOT suitable for large amount of players. Moreover passages are narrow and there are no many alternative ways, what leads to mess...
But I will not disqualify minas totally. Playing minas can be enjoyable, but on certain conditions:
-apropriate number of players (10vs10 is fairly enough i think)
-teams must be balanced. If teams are balanced allies can keep every gate for few minutes, but axis eventually advance through all of them and try to secure obj. All map takes like 30 mins. If allies are too strong, game is stuck and ends at one of the gates, what is frustrating 4 axis. If axis are too strong they advance through gates too fast, and there is completely no fun.

and its hard to keep teams balanced there will always be strong player who would make a big diference and make it hard to keep balanced teams
In my opinion minas is a typical map where people like to join the winning team. When axis are proceeding fast, people will like to say in axis, if allies are dominating the map, most people will like allies.
Typical for minas is the extreme high usage of rifles, mortars, snipers and other classes in the AXIS team. People seem to be desperate for kills, and take "easier" weapons to reach this. In allies you can see this in the players who take fieldops class, people are aware off multikill chances and sprees and so really much players take field ops as class. People are even trying to call arties when the sign turns red or orange, how desperate can you be? \
In short: I don't like minas. I only like to annoy certain people by taking sniper rifle or being to fast for the enemies as axis engineer . The map does not fit in the game since it is so highly different and only fun for those in the 'right' team.

Had you read only the introduction (2 lines of text), you could have elaborated your answer. You love Minas no matter of what, because...
Also I stated that there is no harm in skipping the text and ignoring it altogether. But it is fortunate that you did not waste your time reading it and yet provided the informative answer of "No.".

The fun comes from... playing ET. And it's not because you made a big post that pepole are going to dislike it. I'm just saying, you know what i mean?

I'm not going to repost your post. I just made a short quote.
These following points are just true.
To big:
In the start of minas thirith, here by i mean the grass. Is absolutely unused. I have never even considered to go past the gate to see whats there. because there is absolutely NOTHING.
To plain:
If it would be a skatepark i would say its a good construction. Because there are practicly no objects in the way. Which means u can die pretty much every time without getting a kill.
Unfinished:
I don't know about you guys. But those white walls are giving me a big headache.
I think 90% of the map are just brushes. There are no models exept for the objective.
The only thing it has are more or less 6 almost the same gates to destroy.
Obviously it didn't take much thought to make this map.
PS. This map is horrible
As far as I can have my opinion about Punisher, banned player on PS and Alchemy servers as well I think DS Bunkers is way to small map for 40 slot server. Only a mess.

I don't know if this map was already propose here (can"t find the research box on this forum ;( ) but i think it could be nice, it is large enough for 40 ppl, sk shouldn't be a problem and last but not the least, I love it

The part where one team needs to repair generator and got to get the boat trough the dam is a heavy spawnkill part if the defenders are able to defend the dam.

This map was in rotation. It's perfect for big amount of players. Spawnkill? So what for we are here? At PS#1 there are always maps with problems, for example grave robbery and TJ... etc etc etc...

Take out that map that you have to destroy two trucks. Who made that? If axis want, they camp in obj(they can actually spawn there) and noone can blow up the gate and trucks. + You can climb up and walk on the wires that take you to the trucks ( so theres no need blowing up the gate?) Still, if you take the wires you will be calling a medic before you know.In my opinnion this is one of the worst maps i've ever played. I only know a few maps, i'm sure you'll know something better to replace this one.

U mean 'airfield assault'. I don't like this mup much. There's big open space, where anybody can shoot you from anywhere and taht's the minus for me. Plus, if axis are too strong getting to the obj is impossible. In extreme situation, they can even hold allies on the very first spawn, just camping or keep them on the second respawn, from which there are only two narrow exists, which are very easy to control (to camp on).
On the other hand, obj can be one easily when for example medic and engineer sneak through. I'm not sure, but I think that there is even no need to blow truck defences, cause u can jump over hangar roofs.
