Welcome all Wolfenstein: ET players,
At the moment I'm making an ET map. I'll post here my photo's and information about my map. Tomorrow I'll try to post first landscape photo's.
Here you've some information.
Name: Tower Offensive
Where it takes place: The Netherlands, 4 km from my town. At sea. Reason: There are almost/maybe no ET maps in The Netherlands. I'd like to make some maps in The Netherlands.
Objectives: Allies have to attack, they come from the coast with boats. First there is a town, then an area with only grass. Then a lot of trees, planted in a circle. Behind the trees you'll see three huge towers. Which allies have to blow.
Further information about the town: The place is called Egmond aan Zee (Egmond at Sea). This town really exists. It's a tourist town with a lot of hotels, shops and restaurants. The hotels, shops and restaurant you'll see in the town. I'll try to make a little dock with some fishboats.
I hope the map is being a succes if its finished. I mean there can no lag be inside the map. I think it will take 3 or 4 weeks before its finished. Further I hope you like the objective. Check this topic regulary to see how the work is in progress

To build the landscape you need to have easygen V142. Difficult to find at internet because a lot of programs have this name (easygen). Spawnpoints, objectives, water, skies, command post etc. you can find/build with GTK radient 1.4. This is a mapper tool for games with Quake 3 game engine. GTK radient is free and you can easy find it. There are many tutorials to understand how to work with this program. But it's difficult .

I could help witch your work Zombie, if you like. Maybe with some textures, or simple objects?

If you want you may texture the landscape in GTK radient, if you know how that work In 3ds max (I've program too) you could make some damaged houses. I can make them as well in GTK radient, but need to practies and get used with that program. So if you want you can help me

EDIT: I've added some models in GTK radient The 3 towers and a MG nest. The only problem I've that the program doesnt see the textures. But I can fix that

As you can see the towers are from MLB maps, which you can dowload for free. In this map I shouldnt mak much because I've to get used with this program. My second map idea should be launched soon.[/img][/list]

i will make few houses, and textures for them. Probably tomorow
i schod have it done. Need to know some details about:
-siutable extensions for U: (*.dxf, *.max, *.3ds, others ...)
-resolutions for maps (800 x 600 pix, or bigger),
-the high of buildings -coz i don't know the concept - anu U are the headmaser of this project.

I think I'll finish my map in 3/4 weeks. School first Wolfenstein: second And I dont know if I'm going to make all building interactive, maybe that you can walk straight to it but.... I'll see what I do.
