Dudes i'm pissed off.........my ET seems F u c k e d.....
I haven't find an old topic about this problem so i post now...
To explain quicly, pb kick me after 2 min ingame whereas :

-I have reinstale ET
-Erase my Etkey, all stuffs like maps, skins and my cfg.
-Put the 2.60b patch
-Update Pb via evenbalance

Sometimes I have the "invalid pk3 file" message whereas all my files come from PS server and FG since I've reinstale ET.

I rly don't know what to do now and feel discouraged...maybe I have forgotten smth in the "how to solve this bullsh*t" so any halp will be welcome

check you have ui_mp_x86.dll in your etmain
theres a voice and a gamepic
also check the pak0.pk3 you miss something
better to delete ET and install it again without patch (ET 2.55)
go to some server and check you are kicked or not
then install the patch 2.60 first to see everything is ok. if it is. get the maps by downloading via PS server. i got same problem many times and it couses theres much pk3 file in the etmain folder

Well the 2 files ui_mp_x86.dll and ui.mp.i386.so are well in my Etmain and about the pk0 i haven't modified it since i have reinstale and i don't think that the modified one in a folder of my desktop should be a problem lol.
Moreover problems appeared 2 weeks ago althought nothing changed in my folder (i mean no pak0 or other cfg files).

So i wait for others propositions and if nothing is good i'll reset Et and follow ur last advice dameon :wink:

i have had the same problem before i had to reinstall the whole et delete all my folders of et then reinstalling them allways works for me

Stupid question : Have you installed the 2.60 patch before 2.60b ?
I ask that, cause you don't write it, and the big installer for ET under win is v.2.55.

So, 2.55 -> 2.60 patch -> 2.60b patch -> update pb (with new service, both punkbusterA and B).

Try ET on noquarter and etpub. You can have to much *.pk3 files in etmain direcotry -> move some "maps".pk3 "additionalsounds".pk3 to other directory. I was have it last time ;-)

Some guys asked me cause of the same problem. At the end they downloaded a 2.55 which was announced as a 2.60 version

try to install the 2.60 patch alone, and then then 2.60b

Delete all your ET files and install ET again :/?
Then get patches and update your PB...

thx all and srry for late reply....
I'll try tonight to play back but as I said all settings were goods....2.55 version via PS, then 2.60 then 2.60b settings...all folders clean ( only 3 maps added with fg skin and ps4 sounds).....

So i'll be fixed in fiew minutes :roll:

Hope it will be fine or i'll reinstal all one more time

I wonder why all players r one day, so annoyed by pb...it must be a part of the ET life lol :arrow:
