about bugs

Hi all !!!

May you have ever seen this error on PS#2 server :

"MAX_GAMESTATE_CHARS"

This problem is probably due to an important flood or .pk3 files on the server.
I have search on the web, and I have found 2 links which may can help

If an admin have a little time to look those topics and solve the problem, because I don't know how explain what we should do to solve it (I never use admin commands)

We are familiar with this problem

Most times its a combination of; No Quarter + (custom)Map + custom pk3 files

But it seems like someone added a custom newscrap ehh.. newspack to the server *ughm*Nemesis*ughm* :roll:

That, in combination with a map like Venice can cause problems like this

Before those newspacks were installed it happened also @ Venice, almost everytime the map was on

yes and when I played on another server this bug occured on Venice map.

Sorry, this map is very fun, but may it should be deleted due to many bugs.

I played Venice a lot of time in other servers, and i've never seen this bug... Maybe i was lucky, maybe it's a problem of this server... Don't remove Venice, it's really really funny... Thanks!! :wink:

Who said that somebody will remove Venice

Btw i have sometimes same problems and than i just reconnect and that's it

all work normal

but bcuz of that 'bug' we loose a lot of players at that time cause they think theyre individual kicked and they dont reconnect or reconnect later,

I was have this bug too on PS#2.
I can't reconnect i have to reload all ET ^^ (don't know why but it concern to all server - it don't disturb

)

I was have triple time this bug on one map

Someone from Bunker even created a new version (with permission from the original creator) to especially tackle this problem;

Ok the max game state thingy

Maybe replace venice with this map here
venice_ne3.pk3

It has it fixed i supposidly so might be good to use this instead of the older one
