New Setting of PS1

I think, like i have already said to Bowy, it's good low the power of Nade/Rifle like have all the other server... :good:
I think we need some nice stuff like in PS6 :arrow: !rulebook in some language.
Can u add some map at the currently? i mean plus of 10 maps..
Change the commands that we can say.. i mean lvl7 :arrow: !warn ; i think that !spec999 is a good command and it good for lvl5, too..
Post here the other Setting that you want...Sebby and Bowy too :wink:

For the lvl, a unified lvl system will come very sooon, so it's useless to discuss that atm.

And for rifle nade, I think its good as it is now. PS1 was (and still is) the most "fairest" ps server, with medic who have no akimbo and adrenaline which boost only stamina. But I personaly think that medics are still too strong in 1 vs 1. So, if rifle nade can shut down a medic in a single shot, it's good in my opinion.

Maybe remove double jump ? I know a lot of players wont like that, but it will be good for training for funwar#2 (and all other server have double jump on too, exept PS7).

im whinin like a year for a server without double jumps, but when i ask.. i get.. go ps7 .. go etpro ^^ ..

i think 1 server should put double jump off, or atleast and try-out for a week..

I agree... No need to lower the nade power... And also is good that PS 1 has different settings from other PS servers... I mean, people can choose from 7 servers with different settings... If someone like the friendly fire off goes to Ps 6, if someone else like panza goes to PS 2, and so on... I don't know if I explain it very well... sorry

Maybe its good idea , but for me , it gonna make gameplay more slower and hmm... NQ without DJ - it makes no sense , PS1 is public server and move like this will make server less popular , with lower players around.

+1 :good: medics have more hp then other classes and can heal themselve so it should stay , and damage of nades/rifle are now ''little realistic'' so lets keep it , but we could increase damage from sten/mp34 and shotgun.

I wonder what u think about unlock heavy weapons - personally I think that Panzer can be unlock like it was made few months ago (winter campaign if I remeber) of course only with lower damage , slower missiles and parabolic missile track.

Indeed, we choose NQ so it have to be DJ at least from definition. If u wanna play without it, it would look like a semi-ETpub.
Personally I know its not good for skills (in fact has goods and bads sides) but I have playd with this for a long time and just accept this freedom of moving - like in baserace through all map in 8 sec :P

About riflas.. hum.. in fact I m thinking its too powefull but during battle with medic it seems to be good. Im open for changes and it can stay like now. :)

And about Panza like Kica said - im also open for this change.. it would be nice to see rocket on fire again :P

edit: ahh and i forgot about this - increase amount of landmines per team :wink:

Well, it s clear that it will be hard to satisfy every body, each players have his own preferences etc ... , but we try to have settings witch will satisfy the majority, and that s what we atm in PS1 atm imo, thx to Nemesis :) .

As i already told you kripto, the nade and rifle damage were choosen to make other calss than medics more attractiv and give all classes pretty same chances, it can be sometimes hard to accept to be killed by rifle or nade but it s also hard to accept to be killed by rambo medics :wink:, no changes in this way imo but well i m also waitin for Seby opinion .

About the maps, the actual camp. is runin by Warreno since only since 1.january so it s maybe too soon to change it but it s ure that we will try to have a regulary map rotation and all your opinions and suggestions are welcome, will see with Seby to maybe add one or tow maps if it s necessary.

About add on like multi rulebook languages, ja it s a good idea and will do it soon.

Finaly about levels and possibilty to give level 7 some more cmd like !spec999 or !warn, as Spyhawk told befor, we have a new level system with new specific cmds for each level which will runin soon in all PS servers, so first have to test the new one, and can reopen the discussion about this case about later.

My intention was to change not too much on the settings in the first time.
Think the "one pistol fpr medic" idea isnt that bad and shows a little differencee to other settings.

the nade thing i know is often discussed in ps1 section and if it will come too often to rifle massacres during gameplay first step would be to limit the amount per team but let the damage stay.

doublejump.. hm dont know right now if there were any discussions about it but i see it as part of the mod.

what i think about is doing some tests anytime to allow flamer/panzer.. because they are also part of mod and mortar /MG are mainly defence weapons. i'll think about it

maybe i will add some more mines for engi (egoistic *g*)

bow the campaign isnt that old.. u sure mean 1. february ;)
we wont hesitate to change few maps time by time, i am just wondering i saw no more suggestion since warren setted the running campaign.. so dont stop suggesting and discussing and changes will follow

Hi everyone :D ...As I told you sebbel i'm here to give some impressions on maps AND settings :) ...Settings: I read that someones would like to enable heavy weapons...I think that we have already too much team kills by rifle granades...try to thik with HW!...there's a spam of rifle granades so maybe can you put a limit on them? I have no problems on the power of granades but if anyone thinks we must change it I won't complain.. :)
Maps: I would like to hear what does everyone thinks about Darji....I don't like it at all...but it's just my impression.
Also I agree with the idea of having more maps on the rotation...i'll check for others and then i'll post some purposes.

hmm... as I remeber correctly now limit of rifle is 3 so I dont see reason why we should lower that more, and about ''rifle spam'' , usually its cuz of map like for example Catedral map

Well personally I like this map , but if it will be off I not gonna cry :P , but choose between Darji and FAta (capture the flag map) I deffinitly will be more for Darji.

@ Heavy weapons (panza,flame,mortar) - it sholud be on, but limited and with lower damage (my opinion :) )

And why not try another capture the flag - map???

For me its ok (I always like new maps :) ) but last word goes to owners, but yee darji, fata morgana, base race are simply lil boring cuz we play this maps too many times , maybe try something new :D

I think there should be a limit to the grenade launchers, because the last two days I played a lot, and all those rifle nades create an unbelievable chaos into the game.
IMO that sucks, you can't even walk around without having, an arty, airstrike, rifle nade, panzer, mortar etc around your ears.

IMO it was just fine without the panzer but, I understand some people like it. I do like the fact of adding more heavy weapons (except for the panzer).

There is also a limit for riflegrenades, 3 per team witch is pretty a good limit imo. About heavy weapons, i wont open the discussion again, we only added one panzer and one mortar per team, i think that s somethin you can handle. I don want to see a server full of rambo medics , that s why we allow all kind of weapons, each class have their advantage/disadvantage, and there is no super weapon in PS1 setting imo.

You've certainly got a point there.

However rambo medics are easier to kill then if you meet a panzer 1m distance, and he shoots himself + you.
That's what I hate most.
But if you just had this discussion, I ll shut my mouth :)

Funny how people get so angry about the rifle nade question...i mean in maps such as Cathedral you can't say that the rifle nader doesn't have accuracy if he gets constant kills by aiming?? In small maps i agree it's rather annoying but in big maps, true rifle masters show their accuracy and i have no problem with that because it's just the same with normal mp40 sometimes even harder to aim with.

-->The rifles already have a preset nade limit so it shouldn't be lowered...because of the fact that people will not allow variety...they will stick to the rifle and will not allow other players to use it...anyway that's my opinion..

and for the lvl system i can't complain about it just yet because from lvl 6+ ppl do tend to get enough power than needed (same for me i hav a temper and when people do not obey the rules or mock them i lose it ¬¬ lol) but I'm open to new changes to make PS1 a better server

i agree with warlord about the rifles but is it a option to reduce the number of grenades on the rifle instead of 8 :arrow: 4 for example then you have less grenades in a level at the same time.

i think its a good idea from kica to increase damage from sten and shotgun.
nobody take a shotgun because you don't kill someone in 1 time from in a close combat.
and the sten may do more damage because i like that :wink:
as a covert freak :twisted:

about the maps see what i have typed in the other discussion :P
